"Hey babe-"
"Yeah?"
"Over a million sold"
"Are you serious!"
"Yeah!" I point to the number on the computer screen.
"Congratulations babe!" He kisses me.
"I wouldn't be writing stories without you-" I smile.
"Riiiighhttt" he grins, picking up Samuel and begun making fart noises.
"Oh my gosh. Babe, is that all you can do? " I laugh.
"Well he can't talk yet?? And he likes fart noises."
"Hey, that one actually sounded pretty real!" I giggle.
"Thats cause it was real-" He looks at Samuel.
"Uhh"
We can't help but bust out laughing.
I can't help but think...
If I had died.
If I hadn't reached for Josh.
I wouldn't have him and I wouldn't be married to him.
We wouldn't have Samuel either.
Or Emma.
Emma's not here just yet, but almost.
I know now, I am suppose to live.
If it weren't God breaking those ropes, all those times...I wouldn't be here.
I wouldn't be living everything I've ever wanted.
Josh was the biggest blessing I was ever given.
And by choosing him, choosing to live, I've learned it gets better.
You can have the absolute best.
