"Honey!" I heard Ashton call as I got out of the shower. I put my clothes on just as he came into the bathroom,

"I'm leaving. Calum's here to pick me up" he spoke. I pouted but nodded. He was going away for the week with the boys for a writing trip. The girls and I will be meeting up with them in a few days, but that still means I have three days without Ashton,

"Oh okay" I followed him out of the bathroom and to the front door, "I'm going to miss you"

"I'll see you in three days" Ashton smiled and hugged me to him, "I'll miss you too"

We pulled away and I popped up on my toes and kissed his lips,

"I love you. Be safe" I smiled,

"I love you too" he smiled back, "Have fun with the girls today"

I nodded. The girls and I were hanging out since our boyfriends/fiances would be gone.

Ashton grabbed his bags and headed out the door. I waved to both him and Calum before walking back inside the house. I locked the door behind me and started cleaning. The only time I can clean is when Ashton's out of the house because he gets in the way when he's there.

By the time I finished cleaning the house, I needed to get ready. The girls and I were grabbing lunch then going shopping. It was going to be nice to have a day with the girls. We haven't had one in a long time. Usually when we plan a girl's day, somehow the boys tag along.

I walked into mine and Ashton's room and got dressed into a pair of jean shorts and an army green tank top. It was hot today so that was my best option of outfits. I quickly grabbed my Birkenstocks and purse then went to wait for Crystal to get here since she was going to drive us all.

Just as I walked out, I heard the car pull up in the driveway. I made my way out and hopped into the backseat, seeing that Sierra and Grace had already been picked up,

"Hey!" Crystal grinned,

"Hey. Thanks for driving" I smiled,

"Of course" she nodded and pulled out of my driveway, "I'm glad we can finally have a girls day without our boys showing up"

"Where are we thinking about eating?" Sierra turned around from the passenger's seat. I shrugged and looked over at Grace,

"What about Poppy + Rose?" she suggested. We all agreed and headed that way. For some reason, our boyfriends/fiances don't like that restaurant so the only time we go is if it's just us girls.

We got to the restaurant and sat down right away. Once we were handed menus, we took off our mask,

"I haven't been here in so long I don't even know what I want" Grace laughed,

"I know! Luke never wants to come here" Sierra agreed,

"I keep telling Ashton I'm going to cater it for our wedding. He told me if I do he's leaving me at the alter" I laughed,

"He would never leave you at the alter even if you did cater it. He's so in love with you" Crystal laughed back as a waiter came to our table.

He took our order and we all got back to talking and catching up again,

"So the wedding," Sierra started, "Is everything like done?"

"Oh yeah! You all found a venue too" Crystal perked up.

"We did finally!" I laughed, "But everything's pretty much in place now. Literally right after finding the venue we started booking everything for the wedding"

"What did your parents say?" Grace questioned,

"They definitely weren't happy we aren't going to get married in a church. They haven't liked that the entire time we've been looking. I don't really know what's going on with them. They love Ashton and I know that but they've been acting weird about the whole thing now. And Nikki still hates Ashton so we're just in a tough spot" I shrugged,

"The really sucks. I'm sorry" Sierra softened,

"You know, Nikki was supposed to video and take pictures of when Ashton proposed but she didn't do it. Ashton was pretty upset. I asked her why she didn't and she said because she didn't want to and she doesn't like him. So we have no pictures or videos from when he proposed" I rolled my eyes,

"You all haven't even taken engagement photos yet, have you?" Crystal questioned,

"No we haven't. We got engaged during the peak of the pandemic so we never really were able to. We probably won't now"

"You should still try. I mean, I'm pretty good with a camera so I could take them if you wanted" Sierra suggested,

"I appreciate that. I'll talk to Ash and see what he wants to do" I thanked her as our food came out,

"This looks amazing!"

After a long day, I was finally home. I got the new stuff I bought put away then changed into one of Ashton's shirts and got in bed. I turned the tv on, knowing I wasn't going to watch it but knowing I needed it on for some sanity. Call me a big baby but I hate sleeping at home when Ashton's not here. We have a few weird neighbors that like to peak in windows and stuff, plus I just get nervous that somethings going to happen.

I found a channel I didn't mind the tv being on then called Ashton,

"Hi honey!" he grinned as his face popped up on the screen, "You okay Holls?"

"Yeah. Just wanted to call you" I shrugged, "Plus you know I don't like sleeping here at night when you aren't here"

"I know love. You're okay though. We haven't had the peeping Tom's around for a few days"

"I know" I nodded and nuzzled down into the covers,

"Did you have a good day with the girls?" he asked, leaning back in whatever chair he was in,

"I did. We talked about the wedding and stuff"
I nodded, "Oh! Sierra said she could take our engagement photos if we wanted. I mean I know it's a year late but-"

"We can do that babe" Ashton chuckled and cut me off, "You'd have to bring me clothes but we could do it out here when you all get here. It's gorgeous here"

"I can do that" I smiled then let out a yawn which made Ashton laugh,

"Go to sleep" he smiled,

"You know I won't sleep" I frowned,

"I know but try. I have the house cameras on my phone. I'll make sure those guys aren't peeping around and if I do see them on the cameras, I'll call the cops and I'll call you" he promised. I nodded,

"Okay my love, goodnight. I love you"

"I love you. Sleep tight"
