When I woke up, Holland was laying in my arms with my hoodie pulled tight around her. The cabin we're at doesn't have heat, and although it's summertime, it's cold where we are.

Holland and the girls got here late last night. But by the time they had gotten here, everyone was ready for bed. Holland practically dragged me to our designated room for the week and was sound asleep in seconds.

I carefully got out of bed and made sure Holland was surrounded by blankets, then tossed on this goofy-ass robe I had got at Urban Outfitters, then headed outside with a cup of coffee.

It was peaceful this morning. Birds were chirping and there was a nice breeze blowing. I smiled and took it all in, using this moment alone for some meditation before everyone got up for the day, which wouldn't be for a while. The next early riser is Holland and I know she'll stay asleep for a little while.

I heard the door slide open which made me turn and look, finding Holland walking out with a cup of coffee,

"Good morning" I smiled as I opened my arms, letting her sit and rest against me,

"Good morning bub" she smiled and tilted her head back for her morning kiss, "I can't believe you are wearing that stupid robe"

I laughed and kissed the top of her head,

"There's no getting rid of it"

She playfully rolled her eyes then rested into me more,

"Any problems with the neighbors?" I asked. I know she didn't sleep when I wasn't there because of our pesky neighbors,

"The creepy guy across the street catcalled me when I took the trash out but that was it as far as I know" she shrugged. I nodded. We really need to move,

"Hey babe" she sat up quickly, "I've been thinking, instead of us buying a house what if we find a lot in a neighborhood and build a house. We can make it what we want that way"

I had never actually thought about that. It's a really good idea. Plus, as she said, we can make it our own,

"I think we should do that" I nodded, "I like the idea of making it us from the ground up"

Holland smiled,

"We should start looking for lots when we get home so we can get going. I'd like to be in a new house before the wedding"

"Me too honey"

Once everyone had woken up, we had a nice breakfast together before the boys and I sat the girls down and played them some of what we have for different songs.

"So when are you getting to record?" Sierra asked from her spot on Luke's lap,

"Hopefully in a couple of months. We still have some writing to do" Michael shrugged,

"We also need a management company and a record label" Calum laughed. I laughed and hugged Holland closer to me. She and I were going to be taking a hike later but we wanted to hang out with everyone for a bit,

"When are you going to announce that album you're making Luke?" Crystal questioned,

"I don't know really. I may not. I-"

I immediately cut him off,

"Why not dude? It's so good" I spoke,

"I feel like I'm copying you"

"What? No. We were both writing for personal reasons and those songs need to be shared. I don't think you're copying me. It's not like we knew that each other was making albums"

"You're right" he nodded, "Maybe sometime in August"

Holland and I finally broke from the group and drove down to the hiking trail, luckily Holland had driven my truck down here so we could do this. The trail was about five minutes from the place we were all staying. When we were at the peak of Covid, Holland and I would go find these little trails all the time. We camped in the back of my truck. It was always nice and peaceful.

We got onto the trail and I let Holland walk in front of me since it was such a narrow walk. The trail was actually pretty rough so we were moving at a slower pace,

"We should've done more research on this trail" Holland laughed as she tripped over a tree branch for the hundredth time,

"I know. This is the only time I didn't" I chuckled, "But it is entertaining to keep watching you trip"

Holland laughed and playfully gave me the finger.

We got to the top of the trail which was a beautiful lookout over a valley. We took a seat on the ground and admired the view,

"You know how earlier we talked about building a house" Holland spoke up, grabbing my hand.

I nodded and urged her to continue talking,

"What do you like want?" she asked me. I smiled,

"A two-story with at least three kids rooms and maybe a playroom. A nice master bedroom and bathroom, and maybe an office/studio space. I'd like a bigger garage too"

"Three kids rooms for our three kids" Holland grinned. We have obviously talked about a family. We both said we wanted three or four kids and we didn't want them to have to share bedrooms. They need their own spaces,

"Whats on your mind for a house?" I asked,

"All of what you said but I also want a bigger backyard that way when we have kids they have a space to play. Maybe we could put a playset out there one day. We also need a guest room for when your mom visits" she nodded,

"Maybe we can find a lot we can put a basement in our house on. Then down there we could put the guest room or the playroom. Maybe the studio and office"

"When do you want to try for kids?" Holland asked,

"I'd like to wait until maybe a year after we're married, but it's your body that's carrying them so that's up to you"

Holland nodded,

"A year's nice but if it happens before it'll be okay too" she agreed, "I can't believe we're talking about this. It's crazy that we get married in May then by the next year we may have a baby"

"I know but you're the only person I'd want to do all this with" I pressed a kiss to her lips, "Now what do you say, we head back down the trail and get back to the cabin"
