I caught him in bed, half of the sheets were peeled back and a small lamp on his bedside table had been on.

"Andrea, what's wrong?"

His chest was showing, I had never seen it fully bare. His hair had been curled near the end, he must have taken a shower.

"What's wrong"

I couldn't stop staring at him, the force that had was between us had gotten stronger and it was pulling me towards him. I wanted him, wanted him til it hurt to look at him

"What do you want, Andrea?"

He was to far from me, so I couldn't kiss him. I just wanted him, as I moved closer he stepped back.

"What are you doing."

"What do you think."

I moved closer again, needing to touch him.

"Are you drunk."

He held his hand out between us, almost shielding himself.

"I can't get drunk."

As I stood there, he looked to be uncertain.

"Do you think I'm pretty, I mean all the looks."

He had hinted at it but never during the entire time we've known each other has he said it. I knew I was hot from the multiple guys that have told me but I only wanted him to say it.

"Andrea, you need to go back to your room."

I moved towards him again, he gripped my wrist. That touch fueled it, everything that happened after it was the after effects. I seen the forgetful look on his eye, whatever he was worried about it was gone. Something made him realize he wanted me just as much.

"Dimitri."

He released my wrist and moved them up my arms. He pulled me into him, our bodies finally closer than we ever have been. One of his hands moving up my body, burying his fingers in my dark hair. His lips barely brushing mine as he slightly pulled me into him.

"Do you think I'm pretty."

I seen the seriousness on his face.

"I think your beautiful."

"Beautiful."

"You're beauty hurts me sometimes."

At first his lips were gently, then they slowly became hard and hungry. He completely consumed me, almost like Fire. His hands finally moved to the bottom of my dress, I smiled and looked at him.

"You need to get rid of that dress."

"I thought you liked it."

"I love your dress. I do, but let's burn it."

Our breathing was heavy, but we had our stamina to help. He laid me on the bed, I had never been naked in front of someone like this.  He looked at me, more specifically my marks.

"Why would you ever hid these, they're beautiful just like you."

We clung to each other and kept kissing, kissing, and more kissing. His lips and hands were like paint and I was the canvas, moving over me til he took every last inch of skin.

"Andrea"

His Russian accent saying my name like I was a prayer. I heard another voice, something that bought me into the room in the first place. It urged me to continue so I let it guide me. He had control but he wanted to make sure I was ready.

"Dimitri."

I shifted so I was above him, barely catching the six small marks on his neck.

"Did you really kill six strigoi."

He nodded, I smiled as I leaned closer.

"Wow."

He moved his mouth to my neck, his teeth gently grazing over my soft spot. I know Dhampires didn't have fangs but at this moment I wish he did. People are disgusted at the blood sharing but it can be thrilling with certain pressure and build up.

"You're going to have a lot more than me."

"I already do, My marking have grown since we met. Do you feel guilty about it."

"Hmm."

He teeth digging more into my neck, I slightly groaned as I kept talking.

"About killing them, you said in the mall that it was the right thing to do but it bothers you. That's why you go to church and that's why you space out in the services."

I seem the amusement in his eyes as I figured out another one of his secrets.

"How do you figure these things out."

"Because we're connected, you and I were meant to meet."

My arms kept my center of gravity as he pulled me closer.

"I don't feel guilty, just sad sometimes. They use to be human, or Dhampire, even Moroi. It's a waste, but as I said before I have to do it. It does bother me, the chapel is a good place to thing about it. Sometimes I find peace there, I have the most peace with you."

He rolled me off of him before moving back on top. The kissing was more urgent, harder but I was thrilled.

He must have see my decision because he smiled and shifted his hands to my neck.

Unlatching the necklace that Victor had gotten me. As soon as the necklace left his hands, I felt like I had been able to breath.

"What happen."

"I don't know."

I looked at Dimitri, the urge to be with him was there but the outside push wasn't there. I didn't feel like I was being forced.

"Love charms... hypnotic, dangerous, put over jewelry..."

I stood up and looked at him, trying to cover up my marks. I had let him close, and it wasn't even our choice.

"Forget about it. Lissa's been kidnapped. We have to hurry."

He gave me a pair of sweatpants and one of his jackets. This would do until I came back, it hurt more though. It smelt like him and it was home.

As we arrived at the car, Rose had been with the guardian who seems to always be around.

"Report from the gate. Nothing's come in or out. They're still on academy ground... Have you cleared this with Kirova?"

"Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission."

She looked at me.

"That bitch has no control over me."

Rose looked at me as we got into the car. She laid her seat back.

"Let me concentrate."

I touched her arm, she glanced my way.

"It's too dangerous, I need you to guide them. I can't protect her if I'm watching you."

She nods her head, I laid back and closed my eyes.
