Roadtrips

I was off. I packed a bag and left. I told tubbo he could invite friends over if he wanted as there was no way schlatt would be spending the weekend at home sober. Tubbo didnt really care. Our parents had gone on vacation and left us money so i left most of it for tubbo so he could order food if he wanted to.

I walked outside and got into the van. It was kinda like those big scary white vans that old men sit in and ask you if you want candy BUT it was painted and had a few more windows.
It was a little project mostly me and my dad had worked on. He installed a fridge and bolted couches into the floor of the van and i painted the outside and inside. It took us a long time
I hadnt driven it much so little the keys had dust on them
I plugged my phone into the aux and let my music play.
It was a chilly autumn morning but i still opened the sunroof.

I fuckin love this song the volume went from 7 to 20 before the first 5 seconds of the song could play
I looped the song all the way to minxs house

"Hey." I said as she got in the front of the car "did you get your beauty sleep cause you look-"

"I found out what a minx is" she said. She looked dead inside

"What?" I said confused

"Remember the first day we met?" She asked me

"Yeah kinda..." i said

"Well you said you go by minx and you said i should look it up" she said. She looked over at me "WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME TO WHAT THE FUCK! THE VIDEOS THE- THE- I WAS 10 WHEN SOMEONE CALLED ME THAT!"

I looked at her holding her painful eye contact and just burst out laughing.

"Shut- shut the fu-" minx was now laughing to hard to even talk

"giv- give me my- my fuckin inhaler" i said reaching over to her struggling to breathe

"YOU HAVE ASTHMA?" She said looking at me shocked

"Im colourblind too" i said wiping tears from my eyes

"Pick a struggle you stupid oompaloompa" minx said. She called me that a lot just cause i was shorter than her.

"Inhaler- glove box" i said wheezing

She passed it to me and i shook it up
I composed myself to the best of my ability

"FUCK!" I shouted looking at the inhaler

"What!?" Minx said concerned

"Its almost expired" i said laughing again

Minx laughed so hard. Her limbs flopped around and her hand landed on my thigh
My heart skipped a beat

Holy fuck... it felt kinda right... if it was any one else they would be holding the side of their face right now but her...
I put my hand on her hand i smiled at her

"Oh im sorry" she said she went to take her hand away

"Its fine there" i said "unless you dont-"

"If youre ok with it" minx said moving her hand back to my thigh i put my hand back on hers and pulled out of the driveway

We had been driving for a few minutes and had let Kids by current joys play through one more time before i changed it

"Do you like mxmtoon?" I asked minx

"Who?" Minx said

"Ok then" i said as i put The Masquerade album on shuffle

Niki and gee both went to rhiannas to get picked up they climbed into the back and minx took her hand off my thigh

It was kinda sad ngl

We drove having small conversations until the album ended i put a playlist on that i had made for when i was hanging out with well gee niki and rhianna but now also minx
It was more chill i had mostly made it for niki. Whenever she was at my place i always got her to play music. It was always so good.

Eventually the two hour drive ended and we pulled into my grandparents driveway
It was long and winded around it had fences and thick trees the property was beautiful
They were gone already but i knew where the spare keys were.

This would be a weekend to remember
