Horse girl arc

Friday. The first day of the long weekend. The first day me and my friends were at my grandparents farm

I had found the spare key and we dropped our stuff off inside there were three rooms me and minx in the master and well rhianna decided she wanted to sleep on the couch leaving the other two rooms to niki and gee

The day went fast i gave my friends a tour and we did some basic chores
I tried to show Rhana how to drive the tractor but she almost hit Minx so i got her off fairly quickly
Minx had a small panic attack when she saw one of the turkeys as she apparently didnt know it was a turkey and thought my grandparents had revived a dinosaur

We had sandwiches for lunch nothing special and planned the next day as we had spent the morning doing the stuff i was hoping would take us the day

We decided to brush the horses (my grandparents had 5 lucky us) and if they all felt like it i'd saddle up the horses and take them for a trail ride

The brushing went fast

"How the hell do you get all the dirt off?" Minx asked me

"Youre using the wrong brush" i said leaning over to the tack box minx had "here. Its a curry comb you brush in circles"

"Circles?" She said slipping the small strap on the back of the circular comb onto her hand

"Yeah circles" i said walking up behind her "like this"
I grabbed the back of her hand and put it against the horse and slowly moved it in small circles it got slower and slower minx looked over her shoulder i looked at her

"Um.. yeah like that" i said finally stepping away from her
Minx looked at the ground almost disappointed? I think... i cant really tell though shes hard to read sometimes.

"Here" i said handing her another brush "when you brush him out with the curry comb you use this medium brush after to get the um stuff off"

"Oh ok... makes sense" minx said and went back to brushing

I walked over to my horse. She was mine i'd had her for years.
Me and my friends were fairly far apart so i quietly said to my horse

"Oh maggie... i think im in love. I know i promised you i wouldnt do this to myself... i cant help it! Shes so.. so... perfect."

I looked at the horse
She was dark brown and only had one eye as she had lost the other one before i got her
"What do i do magpie? What the hell do i do?"
I leaned my shoulder against hers. Im not really supposed to do that cause i guess it could be dangerous but i really dont care

"I run a damn volleyball thing with her! I do most of the work.. it was my idea but she sits with me.... i dont know! I fucking hate crushes!!"
I gave the horse an awkward hug
I know it sounds lame but she was the only one i could talk to
I was always so comfortable around animals... almost more than people but maybe i'm just an introvert

We didnt go for the ride
Everyone was tired we all had to wake up early. We'd been waking up early all week for school
We sat inside and played board games i ordered pizza to the house and we sat there and ate and laughed

It was 8pm and the sun was going down the others were heading to bed or to their rooms at least they were so tired
Minx was too but i pulled her aside

"Hey can i show you something?" I asked her pulling her by her sleeve to the back door

"Yeah sure" she said

We walked outside

It was now or never
