a halloween party?

My volleyball league thing had been canceled for a little less than a month and having it made me hate volleyball

When it was up and running i had never liked volleyball more but now that i was forced to stop? I hated it. I was even fuckin scared of it

Speaking of scared
Its almost halloween
Well no its in 4 hours
So yeah almost

I called minx
Things hadn't been the same between us since that night on the bales
I would never forget about it
Things hadn't been different in a bad way different in a... good? way i dont know but it made us closer... i hadnt kissed her again since that weekend though so that was sad

minx answered the phone

"Hello?" She said sleepily

"Hi- shit did i wake you up" i said feeling bad

"No, no i was just watching something" minx said

"Oh.." i said relieved

"Whats up?" Minx asked me i could hear her sit up

"Oh um i was going to ask if you wanted to come over but if you're-"

"Sure" minx said cutting me off "give me 10?"

"Ok sounds good" i said happily

"See you soon" minx said

"See you soon" i said and hung up

I ran downstairs as quiet as i could
My room was on the second floor

I was on the last few steps when i turned and ran back up the stairs

I quietly knocked on tubbos door

"Tubbo? You up? I whispered

The door opened

"Yeah" he said in no effort to be quiet

"I'm gonna be in the basement im having a friend over" i said to him
The basement was nice. It was big and had stuff to do

"Have a whole party" tubbo said

It is 8pm on a friday night

"Schlatts not here?" I asked him

"Nope and im not going to bed soon" tubbo said opening his door wider and leaning against the frame "hey if you're having people over then can tommy and ranboo-"

"Yeah i dont care" i said turning and running down the stairs

I had forgotten that my parents were gone for the weekend and schlatt wasnt here

I called minx again

"Hey" i said when she picked up

"Im in the car i'll be there soon" she said "is something wrong? Its been like 5 minutes"

"Its more than fine" i said happily walking over to the cupboard "only tubbos home and we decided to have more people over invite whoever"

"Oh ok" minx said "i could use a party"

"See you soon" i said

"See you soon babe" she said and hung up

Did she just call me babe?
DID SHE JUST CALL ME BABE?

It kinda sounded right coming out of her mouth

I brought some snacks downstairs
We had a stocked mini fridge down there
I connected my phone to the large speakers and put on some country music

When i had people over there was no way i could play it
Maybe a few people that i could think of wouldnt mind but with that being said i didnt know if they were coming

I stood downstairs humming while i tidied up a bit not much though there wasn't much to be cleaned

The beat dropped as chorus came up and i couldnt help but sing and dance
As the chorus ended i heard clapping from behind me
I turned around only to see minx standing on the stairs clapping

"Who knew you could dance" minx said slowly walking towards me
I put my face in hands
"I fuckin hate you" i said turning back around

"Oh c'mon you know you love me" she said hugging me from behind

"I wouldnt be so sure" i said looking back at her

"Oh shut up" she said taking her hands away and squinting at me annoyed

I smiled at her

"Who should we invite?" I asked her

"I dont know... why dont we have a little time just us first?" She said smiling

"I dont know if i can tolerate you for that long..." i said smirking at her

She bit her lower lip smiling
She ran at me tackling me back
We feel onto the couch kinda holding each other, laughing

I thought twice about inviting other people over
Just us...
It was so nice...
I missed her
I missed having her here...
