Sunsets and hay bales

I led her over to the 20ish giant round hay bales that sat far in the back yard. The property had a tree lined border but there was a small clearing where the bales were. It looked out over one of the pastures. The tall grass blowing in the breeze and a beautiful sunset facing us
I had brought out a small speaker before and let some music play quietly in the back as me and minx sat on the bales

"Wow" minx said when she finally got up (with my help)

"Yeah... wow" i said sitting down
I patted the spot beside me and minx sat carefully down
I pushed my leg against hers and looked at her
She moved closer to me and put her hand on my thigh
I leaned my head on her shoulder

Bubble gum by clairo played in the back

It was perfect

We watched the sunset go from bright um... well i'm colourblind so i had to ask minx for help with that but pinks, oranges reds and yellows which i could kinda see
To purples, pinks and blues

A new song came on

Drunk on Halloween - Wallows

This was a good song
I liked it a lot
I liked minx more though...
Maybe i should tell her

🎶whys the music so loud🎶 the song played that line and minx looked over at the speaker

"The music isnt loud at all" she said furrowing her eyebrows

"Its just the lyric silly" i said taking my head off her shoulder

Minx put her arm around me and i slid mine around her lower back as i put my head back on her shoulder

"If you say so" minx said leaning her head agaisnt mine

"Um i... i love you" i said. I looked away i couldnt look at her after i said it

"I love you too" minx said. I could feel her looking at me

We just stared into each others eyes

"Im... im in love" i said

She looked at me

Simultaneously we both leaned forward

And we kissed

I told her i loved her
And i kissed her

"Hey puffy" she said pulling away

"Yeah?" I said

"Please... never fall in love... again" she said it at the same time as the song

"Only with you my love" i said looking into her eyes

I kissed her again
