   "Komaeda, again?"

The Ultimate Hope sounds exasperated, staring at the sheepish-looking boy standing in the doorway, clutching his shoulder.

"Haha, my sincerest apologies, Hinata-kun, but I took quite a tumble and reopened my stitches. . .again. Hmm."

Komaeda had been training with Owari and Nidai to get his strength up when Owari had hit him a little too hard and shoved him down into a lot of sharp rocks, leaving it up to the brunet to stitch him up lovingly.

He sighs. "Okay, come sit down on the bed; I'll fix you up."

Komaeda steps inside, shedding his shirt and pulling the door shut behind him. Hinata grabs his materials and pulls a stool up beside his bed, instructing Komaeda to sit on it. Hinata begins to clean the blood with a firm yet gentle hand while Komaeda chuckles nervously.

"I really am sorry about this, Hinata-kun." He says earnestly.

"It's really no trouble at all, Komaeda-kun. As long as you always remember to come to me."

   "Of course."

Hinata wipes down the area before beginning to re-close the area, making Komaeda hiss.

"So, what have you been up to lately?" Hinata asks, trying to distract the lucky student.

Komaeda perks up. "I've started reading the most peculiar novel. I've only read the first fifty pages, but it's already fascinating."

"And what book is that, Komaeda-kun."

"Um, it's called Good Omens? Have you heard of it?"

"Unfortunately, no. So you're going to continue with reading it?"

"In any of my free time."

"What else have you been up to, Komaeda-kun?"

The buttermilk-haired boy pauses, looking out the window. "Not much else, honestly. I spend a lot of my time in the library when there's no work I'm wanted for around the islands. Everyone says my luck gets in the way, and it's better if I just stay away."

   "Does that bother you?"

"Is this Ultimate Therapist? Or Psychologist? Or-"

"No, it's just your friend, Hinata Hajime," The brunet huffs, "I was just curious because if it does, there are ways of fixing that."

"Thanks for your concern, but I'm fine."

Hinata finishes the last couple of stitches before handing Komaeda back his shirt. "All set."

Komaeda smiles. "Thank you, Hinata-kun. I don't know what I would do without you, truly."

The brunet nods. "No problem. I like to take care of my friends."

   "We're friends?"

Hinata lightly hits his good arm. "Of course, dumbass. You're a good dude."

The lucky boy's eyes widen and his lips twitch up in a small smile. "Wow. . .I care about you too, Hinata-kun."

"You can just call me 'Hajime.'"

   ". . .Hajime."

The brunet smiles. "Alright, I'll let you get back to your novel now. Sit with me at supper?"

Komaeda nods. "Sure. Of course. See you later."

   "Yep."
