"Look, I know you're upset about the whole 'being murdered' thing-"

   "Jerk." The spirit spits.

"I'm sorry, Komaeda, but you have to understand that I had no other choice. The Boss would have killed me and everyone dear to me; really, you would have been killed either way. This way, there's less sacrifice. You've surely got to understand that."

   "I'll never forgive you."

Hinata sighs. Being an assassin that could see and communicate with ghosts can be such a pain sometimes.

He continues to move his mop across the bloodied floor, keeping an eye on the spirit out of the corner of his eye. He doesn't have much time left to clean up the scene before someone notices something is up, and the prince is dead.

"You said you loved me and treasured me. That you never wanted anything bad to ever happen to me," The ghost continues, "Was that all just a lie? Tch. . .it truly is a stab through the heart in all forms."

"It was painless at least," The assassin shoots back, "And of course, I love you. But as I said, I had no other choice."

"I'm going to haunt you for the rest of your life."

"By all means, please feel free to."

Komaeda floats to hover directly over his bloody corpse. The limbs are jerking out at all different angles, and his eyes are wide open, forever frozen in fear and betrayal. "I mean, just look at this, you've left my body a mess! Couldn't you have at least arranged my body a little neater?"

Hinata sighs and glances at the clock. Yeah, there's time for that, he supposes.

He moves and crouches beside his body. He brings the prince's legs together and straightens them out. He grabs his arms and folds them over the chest before gently shutting the body's eyes.

The brunet looks back up at the ghost. "Better?" He asks.

Komaeda huffs and sniffs, turning away. ". . .I suppose."

   "Good then."

Hinata stands. "Alright then. I need to get out of here," He extends a hand to the ghost, "Will you be coming with me?"

Komaeda shrugs, moving closer towards him. "I guess. I mean, I have nowhere else to go."

"Don't sound so sad about it, Komaeda. . ."

"How come you aren't sad?! I'm dead!"

"Well, it's hard to be sad when I know you're right there and I can talk to you whenever I want. . ."

"Maybe I should just go somewhere else then."

"I thought you promised to haunt me for the rest of my life."

Komaeda tries to flick Hinata unsuccessfully. "You're annoying. Let's go."

   Hinata nods.

   "Right."
