I can hear a few loud cute pitter patter sounds heading towards my bedroom and I couldn't help but smile.

I was sitting on my deck, swaying on my rocking chair overlooking the forest and the lake in all its glory. It was...peaceful, but not for long.

A warm cute little set of arms roughly came and hugged my neck while sitting on my laps.

"Hi PAPA!!! The little boy exclaimed all smiles with the two front teeth missing.

" BRIGHT! I TOLD YOU NOT JUMP ON PAPA THAT HARD! He is not that young anymore. " said the other set of voice behind me with a chuckle.

It was none other than my little miracle, my baby boy, my proof that I wasn't crazy, that I did meet the love of my life, that he was taken from me but left me a miracle.

It's been 80 years since that unforgettable night. I can still remember how hard it was afterwards trying to grasp at what was real and not.

Dealing with two sets of memories could and would drive me nuts.

In the first couple of weeks, Khom tried his best to help me, but I refused to talk to him. His presence there was a painful reminder. It felt like a sick and cruel joke. Someone was playing with us, but I also knew it wasn't Khom's fault. He didn't do or know anything. He also had that false sets of memories in his mind, the only difference between him and I was that I remembered my life before that ill fated night.

When I finally could speak and explained it all to him, he just hugged me and sobbed.

He was worried.

He thought I had gone crazy.
But still stuck around and vowed to take care of me until I got better.

I didn't get better.

It got worse as the days went by. Then one morning I woke up with a searing pain on my neck. I quickly went to the bathroom mirror and watched as Tharn's mark, the sun came back.

I don't know how, but I knew wherever and whenever Tharn was, he remembered us again.

He was real.

My Tharn.

I begged all the gods and whomever else who was listening to please let us be together again.

It didn't work.

As the weeks went by, I found comfort on the mark and rubbed it each time I felt like I was going come undone. Khom just thought I had gotten a tattoo. I chose not to tell him what it was. The man already thought I was crazy anyway.

I let him stay, because apparently his apartment had burned down and that is the reason why I had let him move in with me.
Whoever created that story, could have at least come up with something better.

Weeks had gone by, and I was suddenly getting sick everyday. Even fainted at work.
Decided to talk to a colleague of mine.
I was sharing the clinic with him. He was a brilliant doctor and I knew he could help me.

After telling him all my symptoms, he started chuckling and mentioned if he didn't know any better he'd thought I was pregnant.

Then it dawned on me. Tharn had knotted in me all night.

Was it possible?

Could I really be getting this miracle.

Told him to humor me and check. After taking what felt like 100 pregnancy tests, and an ultrasound . It was confirmed that I was indeed pregnant.

I could tell he was baffled, intrigued because he was after all a doctor and this was the case of the millennia.

He wanted to reach out to everyone and let them know about the case. This was groundbreaking!
