Chapter 32

Mew pov

I was in the shower when I could suddenly feel a wave of different emotions surging through that weren't mine. It started as just simple. worry, then it turned into sadness and now it was just pure rage.

I quickly finished and put on the sweatpants I had in the bathroom.

It took me a second to realize these emotions belonged to Gulf. Why was he feeling this way? He was laughing not too long ago.

I ran to the bathroom he was using just to see him literally fuming. His hands were glowing red and every droplets on him have been evaporated.

After yelling over and over again that he will not lose me again, he is now wandering aimlessly around the house butt naked screaming for San. And whilst I was enjoying the view from behind holding a basketball shorts for him to wear, I've had about enough. I can't accept my mate walking around in his birthday suit screaming the name of another man.

"GULF That's ENOUGH!"

As soon as it came out of my mouth I immediately regretted it.

I've just used my alpha voice on my mate, and although it didn't have an effect on him—weird—I can tell he still didn't appreciate it...he was angry in fact.

I just learned a valuable lesson.

Angry Gulf is scary—still adorable —but scary.

"Did you just use your alpha voice on me?"

"Baby please don't be mad" I say quickly trying to appease him.

"I haven't sent the workers home yet, and they are going to see you, and I'll gouge anyone's eyes who dare look at your gorgeous perfect delicious looking round butt."

He quickly looks down realizing that he was in fact naked.

" Oh shit sorry babe, I completely forgot "

" Its OK baby, just tell me what came over you, and what's with the glowing hands? "

He got closer and put his arm around my neck, after putting in the shorts, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"I need answers and I think San might know what's going on with us. Last night you were frozen Mew and you passed out!

The only way I was able to warm you up was to lay on top of you because for some reasons I was getting hotter and hotter."

"And why do you think San will have the answers you need. He should be long gone by now right?"

"He used to visit me when I was a kid, all throughout my teenage years actually. "

"HE DID WHAT?"

I can't believe that son of a bitch ! If I can ever lay my hands on him, I will kill him.

Gulf suddenly started rubbing his hands on my back, soothing me. It worked.

Just his simple touch against my bare skin and he can melt me to my core. I can stand here forever just holding him in my arms and I'll be the happiest man on earth. I don't need anything else...just him.

"Hhmm, in my dreams though. He taught me magic or at least how to tap into what I've already had inside of me."

"And the heat?"

"That's new, same as you and your sudden frozen act... Sigh...something is happening to us Mew. Can't you feel it?"

As a matter of fact I have felt it. Everything around me seems to be more alive. I can sense the smallest of insect, my wolf keeps feeling more powerful and earlier I can swear I heard the thoughts of a human servant.
