"Here's where you'll stay Yeonjun. I know it looks a little bleak now, but you can decorate it however you want."

I look around the room.

It's quite simple.

King-sized bed in the middle, with a knitted, heavy-looking quilt atop the blanket, and simple, wooden bedside cabinet next to it.

A suspended desk coming out from the wall on the let side of the room.

A bay window seat at the left of the room, complete with, black out curtains, pillows and a folded up blanket sitting on it.

There's a door towards the other side of the cabinet, which is open to reveal a walk in closet.

"How do you like it? Is it okay?"

"Yeah."

My voice sounds unconvincing.

Dr. Kim puts a hand on my shoulder.

"It'll get easier, don't worry."

I nod.

I miss home.

Home? You mean the place which inflicted so much pain on you?

But it's the only place I could call home.

Well get over it. Because they've sent you to an even worse place now.

Yeah. Guess your right.

"Yeonjun?.."

I turn my head toward him quickly.

"You didn't hear me, did you?"

I give a small nod, but I can already see the cogs whirring in his head.

Oh how I hate that about doctors. How they analyse everything.

"Maybe you should take this time to rest."

I nod. He's right. It's not even noon yet, and I'm already exhausted from the day so far.

"I'll leave you to your devices. And just so you know, in the afternoon, a nurse will be here to collect some blood samples for me. Is that okay?"

"Yeah." Nothing new.

"Okay, great. See you later."

He leaves the room, closing the door softly behind him.

I look at the bed.

I jump on it.

Not too bouncy. Not too hard. Just how I like it.

I feel my eyes slowly fluttering shut.

It ain't going to be that easy.
