I never really liked mornings but here I am waking up early to make breakfast for Mother and I. After all, I promised Mother that I wouldn't dishonor our name, which is why I've been doing most of the chores now. I still have this book that I've been dying to read but I don't want Mother to yell at me either, so I guess it could wait for a while.
"Sylvie, could you go to the market square again?" Mother asked. "What? But I thought I had everything bought yesterday already," I said. "I need some fabrics for my clothes. I ripped it off accidentally," Mother said.
With an irritated sigh, I replied, "Alright, I'll go once I finish eating."I never once thought I would go back and get a chance to see Lucius again. I'm quite excited but nervous at the same time. Now I wonder if I made a great first impression on him yesterday, he seemed really nice and formal too.
I walked to the town square and saw him, once again, outside their little shop. I waved, smiled and came up to him.
"Oh, Look who came today," he says. "Is there anything I can do for you, Miss?"
"Lucius, it's great to see you again. Mother needs some fabrics, so umm do you perhaps have anything like this." I showed him a piece of cloth Mother gave. "I think we do, let's go inside," said Lucius.
I walked in and found the little shop to be filled with beautiful fabrics, elegant clothes and unique shoes. I was amazed that such a little shop could hold such beautiful and amazing things inside.
"Ah! Here it is," Lucius said. "Oh, thanks! That's all I needed," I replied.
As I finished paying for the fabric, we had started a little conversation.
"You should really come here often, it's nice to have a friend around." said Lucius.
"Alright, I'll visit when I can," I replied with a smile. We said our goodbyes, and I left afterwards to give Mother the fabrics she needed. I could finally read the book I've been dying to read as well. So I went to my room to read, but as I was reading, I couldn't help but think about wanting to see him once again.
