Mother wanted me to buy a few things in the market. So, here I am in the town square. I didn't see Lucius outside his shop today. So I just went to the other shop that had the things Mother needed.

As I was buying things, I looked out the window and saw two familiar people. It was Audelia and Lucius, it seemed like they're having a great time out there, and they looked really good too.

They were standing beside the water fountain, laughing and conversing. He played with her hair, touched her face, and stared into her eyes as she was laughing. I felt my heart breaking into pieces and my eyes were covered by my tears. Their gazes locked, and she smiled as if she's been looking forward to this moment for years.  She must be overjoyed, and I'm not sure if I feel the same way for her. I averted my gaze to wipe my tears and returned my gaze to the glass pane, once again. They kissed.

The person he loved and who he wanted to confess was Audelia.

I guess it makes sense, since they've been friends when they were kids. I couldn't help though. I feel anger, betrayal, and sadness all at once. But I'm also happy. I'm happy to see my two best friends in love and live happily.

I wiped my tears and bought the things Mother needed. I went out of the store and walked until they noticed me.

They shouted my name, I looked back and they were holding hands. "Oh, it's good to see you both here," I said. "You too, we wanted to tell you something," Audelia replied. "We're dating," Lucius continues with a smile on his face.

I didn't know what to say but, "I see you guys holding your hands, so I can tell," I laughed.

"Yeah it just so happened." Audelia replied. "I took your advice Sylvia." Lucius replied. "I'm happy to hear that things are going well between you two," I said.

Well to be honest with you, I am happy for both of them, but I still feel this ache on my chest that I can't describe.
