11: "Her Secret"

I woke up remembering everything that happened last night. That was so embarrassing - that I thought that he was seeing me and asking me out, I guess I was wrong. I wondered if he already confessed to the person he likes.

I walked to the kitchen, cooked food, did some chores and left the house to meet up with Audelia. She was already waiting for me outside my house. We walked around Loxley and had some conversations about our lives. She also greeted me and gave me some treats to make up for not coming to my birthday yesterday.

"Sylvie, I have something to say," said Audelia. I looked at her and gave a look of 'sure, go ahead'. She asked, "Do you like Lucius?"

I spitted some of the juice I had and wiped my mouth. "I- what? Why do you ask?"

"You don't have to hide it, I can tell, you know," Audelia laughs. I hesitated for a second but, "Yeah, I do."

"Then I guess we will be rivals from now on." She laughs

I was confused until I understood what she meant by rivals. I guess I kind of thought that Audelia would like him one day, since they were really great friends for such a long time. Lucius is a really nice guy and Audelia is the kindest person I have ever met. I can't resist losing any of them.

"Could you keep this a secret though? I don't really want him to find out just yet," She said.

"Sure, then could you do the same with mine as well?" I asked.

"Of course!" She replies.

She mentioned how she developed her romantic feelings towards Lucius and that she liked him  since they were kids. It was a lovely and wholesome story. We both didn't want to lose the friendship the three of us had. So, we both agreed that whoever Lucius decides, we would accept it and support them. We had a little more conversation until we had to go home. Are we really in love with the same person right now?
