Chapter 3 (Friendship)

Hajime made it back to his dorm to bandage his face where the bullet him. He successfully managed but was still trying to process the current situation. He balled up his fist and punched the wall as hard as he could, causing a near hole in the wall.

Hajime: "DAMMIT!!"

Hajime rubbed his fist which had turned red, he sat down at the bed, continuing to question the situation. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Hajime opened the door to see Chiaki.

Hajime: "Oh hey. It's you."

Chiaki: "Yeah, me. You... doing okay?"

Hajime: "What do you mean?"

Chiaki: "You kinda walked off without saying a word... also there's a hole in your dorm."

Hajime: "Yeah... just having a lot of trouble accepting this. Also."

Hajime pointed to the gauze on his face.

Chiaki: "I understand. Apparently Monokuma had mentioned something about 'Forgotten School Memories'."

Hajime: "Forgotten school memories..?"

Chiaki: "He said whoever commits a murder and gets away with it can get them back."

Hajime: "I'd say he's bluffing but considering I went from entering Hope's Peak to suddenly arriving on this island... I can't say that it's a lie."

Chiaki: "Then what are your thoughts on a traitor?"

Hajime stood in silence for a moment.

Hajime: "What?"

Chiaki: "Monomi accidentally claimed there was a traitor within the group... so now everyone is struggling to trust each other."

Hajime: "Then again, are we sure we can just trust all this? Also wait Monomi's ALIVE!? Didn't we just see her get gunned down by... whatever that thing was!?"

Chiaki: "Apparently there are spares around here somewhere. We talked about a lot while you were gone so... I decided to come and get you."

Hajime: "I appreciate it. So where's everyone now?"

Chiaki: "Dining room. I'll take you to them."

The two made their way to the others, where they seemed to already be communicating.

Nagito: "Hey, you're back!"

Hajime: "Sorry I left so suddenly... didn't want blood constantly running down my cheek."

Teruteru: "I must say... that gauze of yours makes you look veeerrryy manly~."

Hajime: "...I swear I'm gonna smack him across the room."

Mahiru: "No one's stopping you."

Hajime: "Anyways... what did I miss?"

Byakuya: "It should come to your attention that I plan on throwing a party."

Mikan: "A party?"

Byakuya: "Considering the current timing... we might as well until morning."

Ibuki: "An excuse to party all the way till' sunrise? You can count me in!"

Gundham: "A tad strange to host a party in this situation."

Byakuya: "The point is to strengthen our bonds with everyone, if we do that, there will be no motive to kill."

Sonia: "That's not a bad idea!"

Nagito: "I expected nothing less from the Ultimate Affluent Prodigy!"
