Despair's History (Chapter 1)

???: "Zzzzzzz..."

Akane: "Hey, Sora!"

A white haired figure turned over and the blanket shifted around, still sleeping.

Akane: "Sora! C'mon get up!"

Akane nudged Sora in her sleep for a while and eventually gave up. She then took out her phone and called Sora's phone. It rang and played Sweet Child 'O Mine from Guns 'n Roses. Sora, still half asleep reached for her phone. She grabbed it and got up while rubbing her eyes.

Sora: "*yawn* Yes..?"

Akane: "Morning sis."

Sora looked at Akane standing by her bed and stretched before getting up.

Sora: "Hi there... what time is it?"

Akane: "10:15, in the morning."

Sora: "Hmm... a little early don't you think?"

Akane: "It's almost noon. How do you sleep that long? Is it the Americano?"

Sora: "Well it keeps me awake in the morning at least."

Akane: "Yeah. Mom and Dad invited us to dinner. They wanted to meet Yuki again considering you haven't met him yet."

Sora: "Yuki... that's the boyfriend right?"

Akane blushed a little.

Akane: "Yeah. Trust me, he's a really nice guy. A little nervous but really nice."

Sora: "Got it. But if he breaks your heart I'm kicking his ass."

Akane showed a slight panic.

Akane: "Sora! No beating people up!"

Sora chuckled into her arm and got out of bed.

Sora: "Wouldn't be the first time."

Akane: "That doesn't make it any better. I'll call Yuki and let him know."

Suddenly Sora's phone rang and she picked it up. Akane walked out of the room and Sora accepted the call.

Akane: "Hey Yuki!"

Yuki: "Hey. You let your sister know I'm coming over?"

Akane: "Yeah. Come over by 5:45. I'll see you there."

Yuki: "Great! Should I dress up or do I go casual or..?"

Akane: "Yuki, you don't need to think about it too much. Just something respectable will do."

Yuki: "Okay, I'm sorry I think got something."

Akane: "Great, I'll see you there. Love you."

Yuki: "Love you too."

Akane hung up the phone and walked back into the room.

Sora: "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. Love you."

???: "You too."

Sora hung up and flinched when she saw Akane standing there.

Sora: "How much did you hear?"

Akane: "I just walked in, but I didn't know you had a boyfriend. Why keep that a secret?"

Sora: "No, it's just a friend."

Akane: "But you said 'love you'."

Sora sighed.

Sora: "Akane listen. I just need you to keep a secret, and it means a lot to me."

Akane: "Okay? But why would you keep your boyfriend a secret."

Sora: "Because it's not a boy."

Akane gave a confused look, after a few seconds she realized what Sora was talking about.
