Chapter 9 (New Islands)

Hajime made his way to the old building and suddenly came by an arch that illustrated the number "2".

Hajime: "Huh? What is this?"

Monokuma: "A new island!"

Hajime: "New island?"

Monokuma: "Yep! Consider it a gift for winning the trial! Why don't you go explore? Also, I've added a new feature to your textbooks! Now you can send messages to your fellow comrades! That's all, farewell!"

Monokuma ran off into the distance.

Hajime: "Message feature... huh."

Hajime activated his E-Textbook and a few apps appeared on screen.

Hajime opened the message feature and everyone's icon popped up, except for Byakuya and Teruteru's. There was also an option with everyone, he tapped then and sent a message.

Hajime: "Testing, can anyone see this?"

A few seconds later his textbook buzzed.

Mahiru: "Yeah. We can all see it."

Kazuichi: "Monokuma told us about the new update."

Chiaki: "Did you find Nagito yet?"

Hajime: "Not yet, but there is a new island."

Ibuki: "Another island!? Ibuki has been shocked!! :O"

Fuyuhiko has left the group chat.

Peko: "Should've seen that coming..."

Hajime: "So what did I miss?"

Mahiru: "We chose a leader for the team. Which was me."

Hajime: "Alright, so what's our first plan?"

Mahiru: "You said there's a new island right?"

Hajime: "Yeah."

Mahiru: "We should try exploring that later."

Akane: "Yeah!"

Nekomaru: "Say... did you find Nagito yet?"

Hajime: "Truthfully, I'm debating that now."

Sora: "Is it because you punched him?"

Ibuki: "We do do that a lot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

Hajime: "How the hell did you type that?"

Ibuki: "Ibuki has her ways. :)"

Mahiru: "We'll start investigating now and regroup at 3:00."

Sora: "Sounds good."

Hajime: "Catch you guys later."

Hajime put his textbook in his pocket and walked to the old building, he went inside and searched through. He eventually walked into the dining hall and tripped over Nagito, who was tied up on the floor.

Nagito: "Hello Hajime. It's been some time. How are you?"

Hajime: "How did you end up so close to the door..."

Nagito: "I'm still able to move around, not well however."

Hajime: "So you are tied up."

Nagito: "Is that all you came to see me for?"
