Danganronpa 2 (Six Chambers)

Chapter 13 (A Body? Here?)

Sora: "Okay. So I'm a password. In a game. During a killing game. Whatever God is up above clearly has a sense of humor."

Hajime: "Something's really weird about this situation. It's almost like you're getting targeted or something."

Chiaki: "Maybe the motives are supposed to help Sora discover her identity?"

Hajime: "No... that doesn't sound like Monokuma..."

Sora: "Well there's gotta be some kind of connection..."

Hajime: "I guess we'll find out."

Suddenly the game displayed messages as if there was a conversation.

Sora: "By the way, Yoruko."

Yoruko: "Huh?"

Sora: "Weren't you suspicious of everyone? Because of Void and everything."

Yoruko: "Eh?! N-No, I don't like suspecting people and stuff. Nikei and Hibiki were at it with us, so that's the reason I got upset. I agree entirely with Setsuka and Shinji. It's just that I couldn't quite control my feelings... so I acted harshly without thinking."

Sora: "...To be honest, when Nikei said I was the most suspicious out of all of us, I felt a wave of worry rush over me. I have no memories... maybe I really am a Void, who's forgotten their purpose..."

Yoruko: "No! No way! I-I mean... well, I can't be certain of course, but... I refuse to believe you're a Void. Besides, even if you are... well, it's like Shinji said. I'll become your closest friend and save you from Void. So you don't have to worry about anything. No matter what happens, I'll be there for you."

Sora: "...Yoruko... can I... give you a kiss? My heart skipped a beat."

Yoruko: "Wh-Hey-What?!"

Sora: "What? They're delicious after all."

Yoruko: "You... meant the candy..."

Sora: "What? Is there a problem-"

Yoruko: "You. You're the problem."

Sora: "Heh. I don't see the downside."

The screen stopped playing the video and Hajime and Chiaki both turned to Sora.

Hajime: "That ring any bells?"

Sora: "This may sound crazy... but I may have been in a different killing game."

The other two were stunned at the thought of another killing game that happened. And for all they knew, there could be several more.

Sora: "Think about the part where I asked about the other girl's trust issues. Wouldn't that usually be part of a killing game like this?"

Hajime: "Maybe... but I'm more curious about the Void thing."

Chiaki: "Could it be an organization or something? It was said like there were members a part of it. If so, then what is it? What does it stand for, and how many members are there?"

Sora: "Who knows..."

Hajime: "Well, I just realized some bad news..."

Sora: "Lay it on us."

Hajime: "That version of you, in the game specifically said 'I have no memories'. Meaning you were already an amnesiac. You just forgot even more of your past."

Sora: "And anymore memories that occurred during that situation..."

Hajime: "Unfortunately this doesn't really help us with... wait..."

Chiaki: "Hm? What's the matter?"

Hajime: "Why would Monokuma make a trial out of this game if it only explores one person and gives little detail?"

Sora: "To rub it in our faces..?"

Chiaki: "Maybe. But it still doesn't make sense why he would keep us distracted with this..."

Hajime: "Oh shit. He WANTED us distracted!"

Unfortunately the secret to the game was discovered to late as everyone heard the alarm go off across the island.

Monokuma (Loudspeaker): "A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time, which you may use however you like. The class trial will begin!"

The speakers turned off and the trio looked disappointed.

Hajime: "Too late..."

Chiaki: "S.O.S signal just went off!"

Sora: "Where?"

Chiaki: "The beach house."

Hajime: "I'll run down there. I'll see what I can find!"

Sora: "Go fast!"

Hajime was already long gone. He continued to run his way all the way to the beach house, which was a very far distance. Luckily he already worked out in the past so it wasn't easy for him to tire out, as he's used to exercising his body.

Hajime: "Better get there quick and find out what the hell happened."

Hajime kept running and eventually made it to the beach house. He busted his way through the door and the first thing he saw... was the dead body... of Kazuichi Soda.
