*** Elis POV ***
"Your my favorite." Simons words stuck in my head until I could fully understand what he meant.
He liked me, and even though I couldve ruined the whole show by my outburst on live TV it only made him like me more. "So, what does this mean?" Demi asked him, interrupting the silence.
"Well, I like her. Shes not afraid. She can be this show's bad girl. She'll need a full make-over. Tell the stylists. We will have her sing a lot of up beat songs and we can show her abilities by slowing it down towards the end of the competition. Austin?" Austin looked at Simon with full attention. "Im going to helo you mentor her. We can accomplish great things." He just nodded and smiled at me.
"So, I can stay..?" I looked at Simon's eyes and he smiled mischeviously.
"Oh yes. I have big plans for you. Alright! All of you, may either go to the hotel or home. Your choice. If you wish to spend time witht he mentors, I suggest you go to the hotels. We rented out, yet another private floor. 4 beds in each room. You choose who you room with. Get a good nights sleep. We start rehearsal FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING. Eli if you'll come with us? Youre makeover will be done tonight." I stood up and walked to where the judges were. As I got there, Simon patted me on the back. "Goodnight everyone else."
Simon pointed me in the direction backstage toward the dressing rooms. I looked back and noticed every other judge and the boys were all following. I wasnt scared for the makeover, I was scared of what it will look like on camera. Will it look like I tried too hard?
I hope not.
"Eli, this is Lou Teasdale. She's One Direction's hair dresser. She'll be the one doing your hair, she'll introduce you to everyone else later. Let's get your hair done today, and before rehearsals tomorrow, we can do your makeup and clothes. Good Luck Lou!" Simon turned around, everyone followed.
"Hello Eli, as Simon said, Im Lou." She held her hand out and smiled brightly. Making me feel more comfortable. Her blonde hair complimented her skin tone perfectly. Her eyes were beautiful as well. I took her hand and smiled.
"Hi and Im Eli."
"I know." she let out a slight chuckle. "Okay, sit right here. I have a great idea for your hair."
"Which would be?"
"How do you feel about cutting it.." Her voice trailed off in to an awkward silence. I looked in the mirror and looked at my reflection. My long hair falling down my spine just passing my hip. My gold under half complimenting the upper black half perfectly. I grabbed my hair and brought it to either side of my shoulders.
"H-h-how short." I just asked. Sad that my hair that took a long time to grow out would be short once again.
"Not that short. Maybe up to your chest?" I looked in her eyes and I thought about everything thats on the line. Maybe change is what I need. Maybe I should just go with it. Live life.
"Ya know what, Lou? GO FOR IT!" I jumped to the front of the chair in front of the mirror and sat down while smiling cheekily at her.
"Yay! Oh my gosh. You're gonna love it!" She assured me as she grabbed the wrap to cover my clothes. "Okay so Im thinking about right.." she found a spot right in the middle of my chest, "here. That way your gold highlights are still on the tips and you have two peekaboos on the side. Sound good?"
"Actually, I think that will look pretty." I nodded and smiled at her. She got a spray bottle and started cutting. I cried at the thoughts of my long hair gone. "Oh my. I'm so dramatic." I laughed and wiped away the tears. Lou was so focused on my hair she didnt even notice, so when I pointed it out she laughed twice as hard.
