*** Lucys POV ***

I was asleep. I was dreaming and I saw a meadow. Eli was there with mommy. EVEN DADDY WAS THERE. They were all laying down and watching the clouds. I thought Id join them.

I skipped up the hill of daisies and lillies only to be greeted by Elis warm hands pulling me to lay down with her. Which I gladly did. We sat there for a long time just watching the clouds form shapes. It mustve been an hour though it felt like 5 minutes.

It started raining. Pouring. Lighting and thunder. I looked to find Eli but she was gone. When I looked back at my mom and dad they were out of sight too.

I started to feel warm. Too warm in this rain. My heart beat faster and as I took one step lighting jolted me back. I was thrown back by the force. I knew I jumped in my sleep because I could feel my body moving.

I laid on the wet floor of the meadow gasping for my breath that never came. Lighting struck me again and everything went black. I felt my body move again but this time, my body wouldn't stop moving. Wiggling and squirming as if my soul were searching for a way out of the never ending darkness.

I laid there limpless in my dream but full of life in reality. I felt a pair of warm hands pick my body up. And since I was laying on the grouns still in my dream I knew it mustve been someone in real life.

I saw a light. Though I wanted to walk toward it, I couldn't.....I didn't.

I saw a figure walk out.

A tall man. Black hair and perfectly sculpted facial structures. A white v-neck t shirt and white slacks. He looked a lot like Eli. He looked familiar but I couldn't wrap my head around it.

"Hello baby girl." I jumped back startled by his words.

"Who are you? Can you tell me where I am please? I wanna go home."

"Your almost at the end of the tunnel. You can come with me and be care free or turn back and live with the heat of cancer on your shoulders."

"Your offer is very delightful but I have my mom and sister. And they told me to never go with strangers"

"You don't remember me baby girl, do you?"

"No I'm afraid not."

"I'm your father. I'm here from Heaven."

"No. Don't lie. My daddy is gone. He will never come back. He left me."

"I didn't leave. I stayed right.." As he said these words he walked forward and placed a finger on my chest. "Here." I realized he meant my heart.

"Prove it." I know I'm 10 and I shouldnt be challenging a guy that could be my father.

"Eli Jenny and Lucy Ramirez. In Florida. Eli wants to be a singer and you want to be a dancer. We have home videos of me and Eli singing with each other. The same song almost every time. The Reason"

He got this all right.

"DADDY!!!!" I ran up to him and climbed on him. Tears streamed down my face as I hugged my father for the first time in 3 years. "I thought Id never see you again!"

"Well pumpkin, we have to say goodbye."

"But you just got here. Please stay.." I pleaded for my father to stay. He could answer my questions. He could hold me and sing to me while I fell asleep because I missed that.

"You've gotta get back to them. Eli and mommy. You belong there. Not here. You've got a full life ahead of.you and I'm not letting you give up this easily. I raised two beautiful fighters. You will fight and get thru this terrible illness. Your strong and you wake up in that hospital bed and never let go again. Don't lay limpless anymore. You don't let this take you over." I pulled back from hugging him to look in his eyes as he told me this speech.
