I gently ran my fingers through Shiver's soft fur. The arguing in the other room was still going on, though I wasn't quite sure how long it had been or how long their disagreement had gone on for. Shiver let out a tired yawn, apparently feeling quite relaxed, and closed her eyes, falling asleep on my lap. I smiled slightly as I pulled out her Pokéball, returning her so she could sleep inside.

Slipping the ball back into my purse, I clipped it to my belt before carefully tiptoeing to the door. I opened it, peering out to the darkened hall, noting that every other door was closed, including the one that lead to the lounge room itself. I shut the bedroom door behind me, sneaking to the front door. No, I wasn't leaving, I just wanted some fresh air and to listen to the sounds outside. Listening to nothing but the other arguing about me was boarding and was making me upset.

I pushed the front door open and closed it behind me a small sigh escaped my lips as I looked at the setting sun. The sky a mix of blue and purples while the clouds were pinks. I closed my eyes and leaned against the door, letting the soft breeze blow against me, like fingers carrying away my worries.

"It's beautiful tonight, isn't it?"

I jumped slightly and looked at Thomas who was sitting on a wooden chair under the porch, hunched over with his hands loosely sitting on his lap. I'd forgotten he'd come out here.

Thomas gestured for me to sit down in another chair. "Come on, they won't finish for a while yet."

I nodded and silently accepted the chair. "What were you guys arguing about before?" I asked quietly.

Thomas shook his head. "Nothing really. Tyson and Nick are now both saying you should go... but I don't agree."

I started playing with my hair nervously. "Oh..."

Thomas sighed. "It's alright though, you're not going anywhere. I won't let them kick you out."

With saddened eyes, I looked up at him. "I'm thinking about leaving." I said quietly. "I'm causing too many problems with you and your friends and it's not worth it."

The older trainer frowned. "You're not causing any problems."

"But you guys always seem to fight about me. I'm not special like you guys and it just seems to be pointless."

"Shimmer," Thomas said in a serious voice. "we fight all the time. All of us are different and have different points of views. Even Alice who was shy most of the time would sometimes fight. This is the first time ever that the Pixie and Dragon born have worked together and everyone is doing what they can to make it work."

"But I seem to be getting in the way of that."

Thomas sighed again. "If you really want to leave then I won't stop you. But I'd like you to stay, I want to help get your memories back."

I nodded slightly and looked up at the sky, the first few stars started to shine, blinking through the last of the sun's rays. I smiled at them, so pretty and so free. I closed my eyes for a moment, letting the last rays of the suns warmth dance in my pale skin.

"Shimmer move!" Thomas called out of the blue.

"Wha-?" My eyes snapped open just in time to see a Pokémon attack flying in my direction. I opened my mouth to scream as my body froze.

Thomas grabbed my wrist and pulled me away, hugging me close to his chest as the attack was sent flying into a wall with a loud crash.

Seconds later Amy, Alyssa, Nick and Tyson came running out.
