Sunlight and starlight are the most beautiful lights there are in the world.
Both glow all day or shine all night and don't die without batteries.
✮.✯*✮.✯*🌟*✯.✮*✯.✮Sunlight streamed through the window in fine rays of gold as the sun rose above the distant hills. Catching my eyes as I watched the daybreak. My thoughts variant over many different topics, not really sure which to ponder on first. My Pokémon still slept soundly in the same spots they'd been in before I fell asleep myself, well, apart from Shiver who was curled up closer to my pillow in a protective manner, an act that brought a small smile to my face.
The dream I'd had was still fresh in my mind, surfacing above my other thoughts. Was it real or just a dream seeming to be real? No, it was real I'm sure of it. What else could it be?
But what did Dream mean by 'find her'? Who was I meant to find? Was Dream someone from my past or was she talking about someone else? Well if Amy's pixie Life is her sister maybe the people in Thomas's group know Dream... maybe she was talking about Alice. Why would I be asked to find someone I didn't even know?
I sighed, sitting up, failing to not wake Shiver in the proses. My Glaceon companion looked up at me with her calm black eyes, as if asking if I needed anything. Her eyes were filled with a reassuring wisdom which succeeded in making me smile a little as I rubbed the the crystal headdress like feature adorn her head. It was as cold and smooth as ice but didn't melt a my warm touch. "What am I going to do?" I asked her quietly.
~Glace?~ She questioned, cocking her head to the side in a confused manner.
I shook my head. "Don't worry."
Shiver just frowned but shrugged it off and jumped off my bed, pawing my closed door before giving me a 'let's go then' look. I became aware of the smell of something cooking that was wafting in from under the door bringing a wider smile over my features as I pushed aside my covers to follow her. Hesitating a moment, I glanced back at my other two sleeping Pokémon before pushing open the door, listening to the soft speak of the hinges as I followed Shiver out.
Leaving open the door so that my other Pokémon could come out if they wished, I followed Shiver into the kitchen where Amy was cooking breakfast. The green haired chief smiled when she saw me. "Sleep well?"
"Yeah... thanks." I replied awkwardly, thinking about my social awkwardness as I did.
Amy however, just smiled and set a plate of food down in front of me. "You know Tommy likes you." She raised an eyebrow as I took my seat.
"What?" I frowned, examining the plate if food. It my memories right (which who knows if it it?) it's bacon and eggs. My stomach growled, demanding food like a hungry beast.
"I think that came out wrong. I meant that he likes you cause you remind him of Alice." Amy laughed as she shook her head slightly. "He was head over heels for her but she was to quiet and shy which made him shy so nothing ever happened. But we all shipped them hardcore."
"What was Alice like?"
Amy shrugged. "Like the little sister of the group I guess. She was shy and easily frightened, but no one dared mess with her because Shiver was fearless when it came to protecting her. Generally though, she was quite friendly and actually really good when coming up with unique battle strategies, but she wasn't particularly interested in participating when it came to battles."
I nodded and looked down at Shiver who was nibbling at another purple berry like the ones she ate yesterday. A curious though came to mind, making me wonder if they were her favourite kind.
