6 years today your parents passed away in a car accident and at the age of 11 you still haven't been adopted

You sit in your room doing some homework given by the ladies working at your adoption centre. You finish doing maths, then some English and finally finishing the science project you started last week.
After about an hour of homework time you watch Bird Box on Netflix (mainly for Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson but it's okay when you have mommy issues) anyways- You start the movie and burst into tears the moment Jessica dies and your friend rushes in to make sure your okay

Y/n- Jessica just died in Bird Box it's so sad
You tear up yet again and your friend laughs at you
Y/f/n- Oh you silly goose, anyways Margaret (one of the ladies that works there) wants to see you I think you might finally be getting adopted!!!
Y/n- Oh I really hope so it's been so long after all, well I'm coming now
Your friend leaves and you run out the room and go find Margaret. You see her sitting at her desk and she pushes her glasses down her nose

Sandy signs the papers and you are off. She let's you in the front seat of her car and her others kids Liam and Layla are in the back

Sandy drives off to her house and she let's you all inside and tells Liam and Layla to stay downstairs while she gives you a tour of her house.
She shows you the living room, the kitchen, the main bathroom, her bathroom, Liam and Layla's bathroom and your bathroom, her bedroom, your bedroom, and the kid's room, the garden, her office and the conservatory
Sandy- Your more than welcome to explore or go to your room please just settle in my darling this is your home too now
Y/n- Thank you mom I think I'm going to settle into my room and maybe take a nap aswell I'm quite tired
Sandy- Okay darling
You go to your room and relax onto the bed, this is a dream I mean come on you have just been adopted by SANDRA ANNETTE BULLOCK THE FUCK.
You fall asleep on the soft, comfy bed and Sandy comes up and kisses the side of your head and leaves you some chocolate chip cookies she made this morning.
This was truly going to be the best life you've ever dreamed of but this time for real and not just a dream
