(This one is for @MaiyaShaffer because she read through this fic and totally gushed about it and now I'm happy sooo NEW UPDATE :)

I ran a hand through through my hair as I sat on the bed in the guest room, trying to figure out what to do. I needed to find Kirstie but how? I'm gonna have to talk to him. Ugh.

I hopped off of the plush furniture and walked out into the hallway into the living room. And for the first time, I noticed that there wasn't a kitchen....or a bathroom. Do we not eat...or pee?

After my brief moment of thinking, I was startled out of my thoughts by Mitch's chiming voice. "Do you NEED something?"

I blushed slightly and responded, "Do we not need to eat or, um.... excrete wastes?"

"OBVIOUSLY not. We don't sleep either. The beds are just a place to spend downtime." He scoffed at my ignorance, making me angry.

"WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU? YOU ARE BEING EXTREMELY RUDE FOR NO REASON AT ALL!" I screamed at him, proud of myself standing up to him, but embarassed at my outburst.

"You simply came into my life and other guardian angels annoy me, especially newbies. You are all so hopeful and optimistic, until you go down and see Hell. It sucks the happiness from your soul and keeps you from ever being joyful again. So pardon me if I'm not the most cheerful chipper on the block." He then walked to the door, opened it, and disappeared from my sight.

I was shocked at his explanation, but it actually made sense. But, it almost had to be more than that. Just simply being in Hell would make me more humble and thankful to be in Oblivion now. I wonder what else he's hiding.

After standing there and thinking for a while, I decided to go seek out Kirstie. I walked out of the house and made my way to the main street. I made my way to the place where I met Esther, hopeful for some information. I walked into the giant building, almost like a town hall, and went up to, now a man, at the front desk. "Excuse me sir, could you tell me where I could find somebody's home?"

"Yes, I can. Who are you looking for?" The, rather handsome, man smiled at me.

"Kirstie...Oh, I don't know her last name. Um...she's about this tall..." I motioned to my chest, marking the spot where her head stopped on my body. "Blonde hair, tan skin. She said something about her partner and her boyfriend Jeremy..."

"Oh JEREMY! Yeah, I know his girl. I go on group missions with Jer. Their house number is 516-K. I hope that helps!"

"It absolutely helps! Thank you so much!" I smiled, waving at the gorgeous man and walking out of the town hall.

I made my way to, what I now saw, was actually called Main Street, and strolled down to the K section, making a left. Passing some strangers, I heard my name being called in a very high-pitch squeal.

"Hey Kirst, I was looking for you!" I exclaimed, accepting her giant hug.

     "Soooooo?! TELL ME EVERYTHING!"

"Well, I got paired up with Mitch Grassi."

"Oh. Um...you'll be fine...haha," she nervously laughed it off.

"He already flipped out on me, to which I responded with screaming and asking him what I did to deserve his rudeness."

I watched as her jaw hung in shock. "You-you screamed at him?!"

"Well yeah....I wasn't going to let him treat me like that. Why? Did I do something wrong?"

"Nooo, but nobody has ever stood up to him before. That's completely insane, Scott." She wrung her hands in worry. "He can make your time here miserable....and that's the exact opposite of what I'm trying to do."

"Kirst, I'll be okay...I promise. I've suffered through much more than a teenager with an attitude problem."

"Okay. I trust you. Just don't get him too riled up. It could be disastrous for all of us." She looked down at her white sandals.

"Why?" I asked, throwing my hands up in exasperation.

She looked up to meet my eyes. "It's not my place to say. You have to ask him yourself."

"Great. Oh, and I have a question for you."

      "Ask away, Scottie!"

"How do I get a hold of you if I need you?"

She gripped my arm and traced her name into it, leaving the cursive lines glowing. "This is how! Just touch my name and we will be able to share thoughts. It's kinda like telepathy but kinda not. Oh and your partner is already built in. Just touch your heart and you can contact him. It works that way for all of us."

"Woah, that's so weird Kirstie!" I exclaimed, amused with the concept.

"I know right! Well, Jeremy will be back from his mission soon so I gotta get home. I will talk to you later Scottie!"

"Bye Kirst!" We exchanged a wave and Kirstie, walking back down her lane, left me to my own thoughts.

(TBH, this fic is so much fun for me because I get to throw in little bits of my imagination that kinda spew out and it makes it all mine :)

Love you guys and stay sassy :*
