Kellin's POV

I was gonna do it, I would turn myself in. It was the option that made sense to me. I know we agreed on using the back up plans, but I didn't want too. I didn't want to forget Vic right now. I needed Vic to be by my side while I was going through this hell. Even if I did give up the note and forget, there may still be a chance I'll get found out anyway. Also, this way it protects Jack and Alex, it protects everyone around me for that fact. Yes, I will just turn myself in, have this all over and done with now, it was the hardest option for me, but the best for everyone else.

"Don't you even dare Kellin Quinn or so help me I will beat you!"
My head snapped up in the direction of the sudden voice, the voice that always gave me chills, the good kind when it spoke. The voice that instantly caused me to relax and filled my hopeless self with a little hope. The voice that I'd grown addicted to over the months, a voice who's face I sadly couldn't see through my blindfold.
"Vic..." I breathed quietly
"Don't talk dummy! They got camera's and microphone's in here." Vic rolled his eyes.
"Oh yeah, sorry."
"Good. Now, are you actually being freaking serious about turning yourself in? You know Jack and Alex would never let you do that, and I sure as hell won't! I won't be spending the next four hundred and something days until you loose natural ownership watching you rot in a prison cell! Not being able to kiss you, touch you, be close to you, no way in hell!"
"What choice do I have Vic? J's too good, he knows how to get under my skin, he already has! He has the perfect weapons against me! And I'm not sure if the back up plans will work. Not only that, it protects everyone."
"Yes I heard you debating with yourself Kels and sorry but you're wrong. It's not the best option here. There's others, aside the back up plan."
"Like what?"
"Did you know you're not the only suspect in this place?"
My eyes went wide, I thought I was the only one here, the only suspect, clearly not. "Um, no."
"Oi, again, dummy, stop trying to look around to see where I am, in fact your looking right at me at this point, but seriously, try to act normal, try and pretend to be asleep or something. Now...well, you're not. There's another guy here, and he's just as much as a suspect as you are."
I laid down on the mattress, trying to make it look like I was trying to get some sleep. "Who is he?"
"I don't know yet, that's what I'm going to find out, but I have an idea."
"Care to share?"
"Yup...in short...frame him."

My heart pounded hard, could I do that? Could I really let someone else go down for the things me and Jack have done? He could be an innocent, I mean, if he was a criminal, sure, but what if he's an innocent? One of the people we wanted to protect by doing all this? That's why we did all this, to protect innocent people, save innocent lives from the hands of criminals. I couldn't send an innocent man down, and I knew Jack wouldn't either, no matter what it meant for us. "I-I don't think I could..."
"Yeah, I heard, but what if he's not innocent Kels? What if he's just as bad as the one's you've rid of? Could you agree then?"
"I-I don't know, maybe..."
"Look, Kels, think about it, we have the perfect opportunity here for you and Jack to both come out of this and for all of us to be happy and carry on with our lives! Also, there's another problem here..."
"What? What's that?"
"J isn't the only 'J'...Obviously, we knew there was four members on the task force...but he was on the phone to someone when I got here. He was discussing you, and the other guy, confirming facts...there's someone else behind his investigation, someone I believe hasn't revealed himself. So, even if we rid of this J, I believe this one will step right in his place...until someone is caught. He referred to him a 'M'...they like their initials it would seem. Anyway, look this is the best option Kels. Pin it on that dude, you brake free, Jack's free, you can stop using the notes like you have been and go forward with the 'after' plan. You know, the one where you only choose criminals who are dying anyway, once every few months, just to keep ownership, so it's not obvious and we can live happily ever after?"
"Yeah, but Vic, if he's innocent..."
"I don't think he is...but that's why I'm here. Obviously I came to be with you, but I'm also here to snoop, get whatever information I can, take it back to the other two so we can come up with a plan to get you out of here. So, will you let me do my job and get you the hell outta here?"
"Ok, ok, just...hurry. I don't know how much more of J getting under my skin I can take."
"I'm on it. In fact they're about to go talk to the other guy now, so I'll get right on snooping. Now I'm going to give you a kiss, try not to make it obvious your kissing me."
"O-Okay." I laid and waited, until I felt Vic's sweet, slightly cool breath on my face. I breathed it in happily, I never knew I could miss that feeling as much as I did. I never realized how addicted I became to him until I thought I was going to loose him, never see him again.
