Nightmare

It was a usual winter’s night,
When I was laying on my bed.
A stranger appeared out of nowhere,
And began to whisper in my head.

He told me he was a friend,
We had met a long time ago.
He took me to journey to the paradise,
A land of sunshine, beauty and lights.

He served me chocolates and ice cream,
But behind the walls I knew I heard screams.
I thought I was living in a dream,
But it all turned out to be a nightmare.

I knew I was in grave danger,
So I ran as fast as I could from the stranger...,
He was a wolf in sheep’s flesh,
An evil spirit by his nature.

I thought I would be dead,
But I just woke up in my bed.
From the moment onwards I was always beware,
But I still don’t know if I have escaped my nightmare.
