Lost

I roam clueless in the desert of unknown,
Not a single soul I have seen in days.
I am tired and I am lost,
Now I am just desperate to go home.

I take refuge under the sky,
Covering myself with chilled winds.
I put myself to sleep at nights,
Listening to the mosquito’s Lullaby.

I crave for food and I thirst for water,
But I found nothing on this barren land.
I have walked miles with a stomach full of hunger,
Now I am growing weak, and it’s difficult to even stand.

I just wish to be back on my way,
One that leads to my home.
I am tired and I am lost,
Now I am just desperate to go home.
