A month or so had passed by now. Things in their small home was returning to a new kind of normal at last. A routine seemed to have been created, voices and laughter had made its way back rather than the fights and crying. Time was spent together and the once tense atmosphere had lightened up. Hugs had come back, although not as often, he decided it would be good for some sort of change to happen between the three of them.

Even Holly was happily now between his owners and seemed more relaxed.

Yoongi had finally gone back to work the second week after going by. It took him no time to get accustomed in his office space. He had gone through his belongings, finding bits and pieces of unfinished lyrics and tunes. He had sat down one day and gone through every single one of those pieces, hoping something would spark. While nothing was triggered at the time, he somehow felt a heavy heart at the lyrics. He knew something had been going on before even losing his memories, and the heaviness the words carried were evidence of that.

He had gone through his desk, finding pictures and Polaroids of the three of them together. Bright smiles, rosy cheeks, and just pure happiness. Even their eyes shone. Looking through them he remembered that feeling of happiness he felt in his chest.

Curiously one day, he asked his fiances about the lyrics he had seen. The words that were written and that heavy feeling they carried. He brought the pieces of paper by showing it to them. They opened up and explained to him what had happened. How he always seemed to be more concerned with work, though they seemed to understand their reasoning. Always staying in late, some days not even returning home at all, forgetting their promises and plans. Even forgetting to meet Jimin for lunch, who worked in the same building. But how he still tried to make things right, to fix things every chance he had. The conversation led to the day everything had happened. The cause of all their problems and worries at the moment. How he eneded in the hospital after the accident, while he tried to come home to them for the evening. The small fight he and Hoseok had and how everything seemed to be declining quickly.

The recounting of the events teared them up. Yoongi saw their mood change, their eyes averted, their voices cracking as they tried to speak. The tears welding up in their eyes and how they swallowed the knot that formed in their throats. He felt that deep in his heart.

Although he couldn't remember, he saw how badly it tore them from the inside.

He decided to leave the conversation there, not wanting to see them so saddened and quickly changed the topic. He couldn't bear seeing them sad anymore. He didn't want to be the cause of that.

Today he was back at his job. In his office space, door closed, lights dimmed and the monitor shinning its bright light and casting shadows on his face. He was currently working on a new song, the music pouring from the speakers. It was currently six o' clock at night. Most of his coworkers had left, but he couldn't find it in himself to leave. He was so involved at the moment that even the sense of time had been lost.

Yoongi had found that working on his music was his little escape. He could forget about everything that had been going on and instead write. Write about his feelings, his thoughts, his fears. It calmed the storm in his head.

Distracting him from his work, his phone rang on his desk and illuminated the rest of the room. He grabbed it as soon as he read 'Hobi💜' on the screen.

"Hey," he answered, reclining back on the chair and taking of his glasses to rest his eyes.

"Hey, sorry to disturb. I'm sure you are working," Hoseok spoke on the other line, sounding tired.

"No, it's okay. I needed the break. Everything okay?"

"Yeah, kind of. I just wanted to know if you could leave early today. Jimin is getting out now and I have to stay a little longer at my job. I won't be able to pick him up and you know he hates being alone for too long. He's going to get impatient and then freak out."
