"W-who the hell a-are you?"
"Hyung? W-what do you mean?" Jimin asked, hoping that what he thought was going is not coming true. It couldn't be.
Yoongi looked between the two, his eyes staring up at Jimin, the only familiar face to him, "w-who is he? your boyfriend?" his eyebrows were furrowed, hands balled into fists.
"Yoongi, do you really not remeber?" Hoseok asked, eyes filled with fear, fear of losing him. Because right now, that is what was happening. He was losing him. Losing what all three held dearly.
"Is someone going to answer my damn question?!" he yelled, his head stinging though he ignored it. He sat up, the dizziness causing him to groan and hold onto the bed for support. He shut his eyes closed and took deep breaths, trying to calm down his senses.
The nurses came rushing in the room, pulling a cart with them. They urged the other two out of the room to check on their patient and once they did, Jimin let his weight plummet to the floor.
His eyes wattered as he stared down the empty hall. Hands trembling, lip quivering. Things felt like they slowly crumbled down around him. All hope, his happiness, everything. He felt like everything he ever fought for was now gone.
"Jimin," Hoseok sighed, kneeling besides him and wrapping his arms around the younger boy in a hug. "It's okay baby. Things will be okay. I'm sure of it. It's going to work out," he reasured, though he wasn't sure of the words himself.
"I-is it? Because i-it d-doesn't look that way," he turned around hugging Hoseok tightly, head hidden on his neck.
"It will, I'm sure it will," he sighed caressing his head and resting his chin on his head.
Later on, the doctor had talked to Yoongi after Hoseok asked him to explain things to the oldest. The doctor being understanding, decided to help them. He tried to go over everything, tell him bits of what he was told by his lover, but Yoongi was not having none of it. He was in strong denial.
"Try to understand Mr. Min, if you want memories to come back, if they come back, you can't have this attitude. You need to be positive and try to work your way around to remember things. There are people that are depending on that, that are hoping for that, so please try your best," the doctor had said.
After some time, he left the room and told the fiances that they could come inside, but that he didn't have much luck. Either way, they were quick to go into the room, hopeful as always. But of course, nothing had changed since he had woken up, and it didn't seem like it would any time soon.
Yoongi stared at the two males in front of him, still confused completely. Even after the doctor spoke to him, things just didn't seem to make sense. Things he refused to believe were true. He was not in America but in Korea. Though he knew the date, for some reason, he couldn't remeber anything else that has happened in his life for the past years. He didn't want to trust anyone, didn't want to know anything right now. It just tired him out more. He felt like he was being told lies, even when his engagement ring was shown to him, he refused to believe any of it.
Jimin and Hoseok tried to be hopeful. They knew in the end things would turn around, just like they had in the past. But how long could they hang on to that hope?
"Hyung," Jimin broke the silence walking over to him, but soon stopped.
"Don't," Yoongi said harshly. "Just don't. Don't come any closer. Don't say another word. Please," he looked down at his hands. "I'm not sure what is going on, or what happened to me. But I'm tired and confused. Nothing makes sense. The doctor told me things that I don't have any recollection of and it scares me. So please, just leave," he closed his eyes, refusing to make eye contact with either male.
Hoseok grabbed Jimin's hand, slowly pulling him back towards him. He could tell the younger didn't like not being able to do anything. Not being able to solve their problems like he usually tried to do. His eyes were waterred, nose red as he turned around to stare at the door, his hand gripping tighter on his bigger one. "Okay, we'll leave then. But try to understand that we also feel similar to you right now. We feel broken just like you. Please try to see that." When he didn't recieve a response from the oldest, he turned around pulling Jimin with him, "sleep well, hyung, we'll come back tomorrow."
Alone once more, Yoongi opened his eyes and stared at the closed door. The room was filled with deafening silence and the cold made him feel numb. With a loud sigh, he let his body lay back in bed and he closed his eyes, shielding them from the bright white lights.
His mind didn't work, but his heart was twisting and turning in his chest with agony. He hated it. All of it.
