Astralea's POV

"I thought I told you to not grab too much attention to yourself. " Alessandro said. More like yelled. "And now all I'm seeing on the news is a shootout on the streets of Paris and an explosion that looks more like an air strike. How did you even manage to get an air strike?"

"We didn't really have a choice. It was that or getting killed." I said.

"They knew we were going to be there. As soon as we left the club we were followed. We took care of all but one. Airstrike was the only option. " Enzo said.

"How did you get it?" Alessandro asked.

My father looked at me, knowing that it was me and not Enzo. "Allie left a mission earlier today, that isn't related to you, is it?"

"It's my first time hearing about it." I mean, technically I'm not lying, she didn't tell me she left early.

"Who is Allie?" Alessandro asked.

"She is one of my skilled... employees. Who is just so happened to specialize in anything related to explosions. " Father said.

"It doesn't matter how it happened, that's not the point." I said, "we had a situation, we delt with it."

"You call getting an airstrike 'dealing with a situation '" He really did have a point there, it was supposed to be a quiet mission, but what were our options, "you....no missions for you. You can consider yourself grounded" He pointed at me.

"What do you mean I'm grounded? It's kinda too late for that dad, plus, you are the one who said I should go on the mission, so if anything it's your fault."

Everyone looked at me like I just signed my death warrant, but he knew better than to threaten me.

"I should have sent your sister."

"Oh trust me dad, if you sent me I would have blown half of the Paris off with that airstrike. At least she took it out of the city on an empty road." Mira said in my defense.

You just can't not love her sometimes.

"You two will be the death of me." He put his hand in his forehead "and I thought Nex will be the most problematic one."

"Hey, don't bench me just yet, I just didn't get a chance to shine yet." Nex said with a smile on his face and dad just poured himself a glass of whiskey and chugged it.

It's 6am...

"Regardless, we did get some information. " Enzo said and told them everything that we found out.

"There is a high chance that they are going to test it on us." Alessandro said.

"I don't think so." Demarco answered and everyone looked at him. I don't think I've ever heard him talk before. "Their first hit was on Russians, probably to grab everyone's attention to us and not themselves. By killing us they will ultimately let themselves get at risk of getting exposed. "

"He is right." Mira said, "But they will want to make a statement. They won't blow it in a desert, my guess is a city, probably downtown. "
