Astralea's POV

Walking into the loft is harder than it should be. Two weeks ago I left in the middle of the night without telling a word to anyone, and what am I supposed to do now, just walk in?

Well I guess.

I enter the hallway, no one is in sight. Good. Walking down into the living room I hear some noise, Mira, having a classic midnight snack.

"Hey."

"Omg you are back! I mean, you told me that you are going to be, but I didn't think that you actually will be so soon."

"We have unfinished business. "

"Astralea."

I turn around and see Adron. He definitely didn't expect to see me and he definitely doesn't know what to say.

"Hey."

"You good?"

"Yes. "

"Okay then. " He turns around and walks away.

"Well that was a lovely conversation. " Mira says.

"Yeah, each day he is more and more like dad."

"Sadly."

On that note I walk into my room. Everything is how I left it, like they were too scared to mess with it.

I change into my comfortable clothes and sat on my bed.

It's weird being here, knowing that he isn't.

Someone knocks on the door.

"Come in."

"Hey." Rio walks in and closes the door. "I heard that you came back and wanted to make sure that you are okay."

I forgot how close he got to Nex over the last few months, his death hurt him too.

"I am, thanks... I found them."

He looks up at me, he knows who I'm walking about.

"Did you kill them?"

"Yes."

"Was it painful?"

"Very."

"Good."

He is not the same Rio. It's not the same. He and Nex were so alike, it's like he lost a part of himself too.

I get up from my bed and walk to him, look into his eyes to see if he will push me away. His eyes, he is holding back tears.

I wrap my hands around his neck, and at first he doesn't move, but then he hugs me and buries his head into my shoulder. He starts crying.

I never thought about how others felt when he died, I wasn't the only broken one.

Maybe I shouldn't have left.
