Astralea's POV

My home has been taken, one of my cities has been destroyed, my people are dead, and here I am, contemplating my life choices and figuring out what I'm missing.

When Alessandro was talking to me earlier, arguing whether letting millions of people die is okay or not, he mentioned staying in the US for a few years in early 2000s. I wouldn't really pay attention to that if his eyes didn't widen right after saying that, as if realizing that he said something he wasn't supposed to.

Italians always had business in US, early 2000s was the ending period of it. Or I guess ending period of the expansion. Everyone sticked to their borders and deals, so its not weird that he was there, so why did he react like that.

I dont remember much from 2000s, except for that stupid fashion and my mom. I barely remember her, she died when I was 6. I think it hit Adron the most, ever since then, he was different. More serious.

Like he had to grow up the moment she died.

Nex, he took care of me. Like that responsibility fell onto him, I dont know why. And Mira, she was just a baby when she died. I wish she did grow up with her. My mother was an amazing woman.

Sometimes Andrea reminds me of her. Especially when she pointed that gun at all of us.

I think I should do some research on early 2000s, there is something I'm missing.

I was about to start typing on my laptop until the knock on my door.

"It's me." Nex said.

"Come in," he opened the door, "since when are you knocking. You usually just barge in."

"Since I walked into Adron's bedroom and saw his dick in his hand. Traumatizing moment."

I couldn't resist not to laugh at that.

"I'm going home." He said.

"Are you sure we even have a home."

"I want to take it back, and I need you."

"You need me?"

"Yes, first, I doubt father will let me go, but currently every single men in this house is terrified of you, so I have a feeling that if you will say you want to go, no one will try and stop you. "

I laughed at that, I dont think he is wrong.

"I should have said something, I might not be as powerful as they are, but maybe if I spoke up something would have changed."

"I doubt It. Their mind was set on killing everyone. I doubt that Enzo and Adron united would have changed that. So what's your plan, two of us go to New York and take the whole city back."

"Our men are currently fighting and trying to take it back, we have people I think they just need a few psycho bitches to assist them."

"Well, than count us in." Mira said from the doorway. "Sorry I overheard. "

"Us?" Nex asked.
