Assassin's Secret

chapter 13

Astralea's POV

His body is against mine, I can feel his breathing. "Are you really going to kill me in my own house." He whispered into my ear, his voice so deep, so intoxicating. My knife is definitely cutting through his skin right now.

"Wouldn't be my first time." I respond. All I have to do is move my hand to the right and done, I'll slit his throat. But I can't. I feel my body betraying me, I'm supposed to hate him so why does this turn me on. He turns me on.

"Oh I bet." He said. What does that mean, does he know? He moves away from my ear, now he is in front of me. His lips are next to mine, I can feel him. Part of me wants to look away and get free, but another part doesn't.

He gets closer to me, looking into my eyes. Filled not with anger, but with desire.

"Are you fucking serious?" We both look to our right. "Astra it's been only an hour and you are already putting a knife to his throat."

We both were so focused on each other that neither noticed Nex come up from behind.

I like how he is accusing me, yet I'm the one pinned to the wall.

Enzo let go of me and left. Leaving only his blood on my knife.

"You know I'm supposed to be the crazy one, right sis?" I rolled my eyes at him. "That sexual tension though."

"I don't know what you are talking about. "

"Astra he almost ate you with his eyes, or at least wanted to."

"Oh shut up," I don't think he is wrong though, "you wouldn't happen to know where my room is at, would you?"

"Oh so that's what yall were doing, going to your room, huh." I swear to God, I'm going to punch him. "Follow me sis. Try to not get distracted again."

Yep, I am going to punch him.

"This one is Mira's room, yours is the last one on the right." We walk towards the end of the hallway and he opens the door into my room.

The walls are beige, but they put dark brown furniture in for the contrast, the room is huge. Not as big as the one I had at home, but still. For some reason I expected them to give us small rooms with barely any space but nevermind I guess.

This should do then.

"Dinner is in an hour in the living room. Will you be able to find it on your own, or should I ask Enzo to come and get you." He said laughing.

"Okay, that's enough" I kick him out from my room, literally, kicking him in the stomach and he flies out. I love Nex, but sometimes I want to kill him.

My suitcases are already here. I dont care as much for my clothes as for my guns. But first things first, I have to search the room, we might be on the same side but I still don't trust them.

About a month ago Selene created a program that checks if there are any cameras or listening devices in the room. So I immediately turn it on and walk around the room, nothing.

Just in case I still check everything, every spot where they could have put a camera. I open one of the drawers and there is a gun in it with a note. 'A welcoming gift. -A.M.' I assume A.M stands for Andrea Moretti.
