xxiv. Kamino Ward

The news hit the world like a truck, some hurt more than others.

UA student, Katsuki Bakugou, kidnapped.

Pro Hero, Ragdoll, missing.

UA Quirk trainer, Lightbringer, kidnapped.

Aizawa was shaken, and he was shaken up bad. His students were hurt, with many in comas in the hospital, some with more so severe injuries, and then the successful kidnapping of another.

And to top it all off, they took her, too.

"Damnit!" Aizawa screamed, his fist plummeting into the wall of the teachers lounge.

"Shouta..." Kayama and Yamada didn't know what to say, but they did know what to do.

As the two heroes pulled Aizawa into a hug, they felt the man's tense muscles loosen ever so slightly.

"Eraserhead, the press conference is in an hour." The Principal informed as he walked into the lounge, seeing the rather painful sight.

"I know it must be hard, but this conference is your responsibility now. While the rest of the heroes perform the operation." Nezu was trying to be optimistic, but he knew his words weren't truly helping. Aizawa would have to go out there and claim full responsibility for absolutely everything that had happened, because his words allowed the students to fight back, because he knew that they, the teachers, wouldn't be able to save them on their own.

And even then, with the students fighting, they lost.

Inhaling deeply, Aizawa separated himself from Kayama and Yamada and left the room, going to prepare for the conference.

Going home, the teacher shut and locked his door before going to his bedroom and grabbing his nicest suit.

He paused as he turned around, his eyes now locked on his messy bed, one that was never straightened up before he and [L/n] left for camp.

"Lightbringer!" All Might yelled, watching as the woman's body erected from one of the concrete tubs, her body dripping with an unknown liquid and wires. Her body was nude, face blank, almost like that of a robot.

"And may I introduce the newest addition to the League, Lightbringer." The smirk on All For One's face was one to be afraid of, one that everyone watching on tv feared, despite their distance.

"Oi, Lightbringer!" Bakugou yelled, still defending himself as the League of Villains were still trying to kidnap him. "Put on some fucking clothes!" Despite his own words, he knew, he knew deep down that it wasn't really Lightbringer. But if he could pretend it was, then maybe, just maybe she would be. Right?

"Help get Bakugou." As those words left All For One's mouth, Bakugou's eyes widened in absolute horror as the woman who was responsible for training him, who was only involved in any of this because of him, came after him with the most emotionless look on her face.

And she wasn't there to help him.

"Lightbringer! Stop this nonsen—!" All Might cried out, but was cut off as All For One attacked him. No matter how many plans All Might could think of, none would be able to defeat All For One as well save Bakugou.

Bakugou couldn't fight back, so he avoided each and every attack the woman shot at him. Or rather, each and every motion she made to grab him. Bakugou was slightly surprised that the woman wasn't using her Quirk, but it also gave him hope that she was still in there somewhere, fighting herself mentally as to not hurt the young ash blonde boy.
