xviii. Practical Exam

The two slept peacefully, wrapped up in blankets together.

That was, until Aizawa's alarm went off.

The man groaned, shutting off his alarm and wrapping his arm back around the woman.

"I don't wanna go." [L/n] whined, perfectly content where she was at.

"We have classes today. And now that you're back to being you, I have two students for you to fight." He informed, placing a kiss atop her head.

"Hm? For the practical portion of the exam?" She inquired, still not moving from her comfortable spot.

"Yes. I had chosen you at first, but when you were turned into a kid I changed it to Principal Nezu. Now that you're back, I'm choosing you again. I have you pitted against Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari. Two kids with powerful Quirks, who are extremely laid back, and ridiculously harmful to those around them. I'm hoping that going against you, as a villain, will help them."

"I like that, Shouta." He could feel her lips move against his chest as she spoke, so he was also able to feel her lips form a smile, a smile that he adored very much. "Well, I suppose we really should get up."

Rolling away from him, she removed the blankets from atop her body and sat up, swinging her legs over the side of his bed. She sat there for a moment, not really wanting to get up, but knowing she had to.

Aizawa's eyes followed her, not looking at her lustfully, but with care and admiration.
How did he get so lucky?

Finally standing up, she stretched and turned around. "You gotta get up too, Shouta. I'm only there for the fight, you have actual classes to teach and a fight of your own."

Aizawa got up after that and the two took turns taking showers and got ready. With [L/n]'s current hero costume being at UA, she wore her former one, which she kept at Aizawa's.

And of course, the two walked to UA together. It had been awhile since the two had been spotted casually walking to the school, or casually together at all. So onlookers took pictures, posted images with some rather interesting captions, but most of all, people were just glad to see the duo of Lightbringer and Eraserhead side by side again.

"Oh, and Shouta, how much does the media know about the whole kid situation?" [L/n] asked, and when she saw the man bite his bottom lip, she felt fear.

"The media ate the situation up. You and Endeavor were at the top of the headlines everyday ever since the incident was caught on camera. Lightbringer takes detrimental hit for the number two hero, ends up being turned into a kid! And all the Endeavor takes care of baby Lightbringer!? Such an interesting twist!" The man shivered, remembering all the ridiculous headlines he had seen over the past two and a half weeks.

"How about we give them new headlines?" [L/n] asked, the slightest smirk arising to her face.

"I don't know what you're thinking, but no."

"But yes." And in front of the masses, the two nearing the schools gates, she got in front of him and placed a quick kiss on his cheek before skipping ahead and onto UA's campus.

She was bombarded by questions from students about her experience as a child, and she felt bad telling them that she didn't remember anything, which was true. Little bits and pieces were in her memory, but nothing that significant.

One of the many unknown factors about Lightbringer herself, was her childhood. Parts of her Quirk were unexplained, partly because there were parts of her Quirk that even she didn't understand.

But her childhood?

Don't bring it up.

It was as simple as that, only a select group of people knew, and that is how it should always be. Those individuals being Kayama, Yamada, Aizawa, Enji Todoroki, and Principal Nezu.
