A few days had passed and it was finally time for something different for the students.
Rescue training.
"This time, All Might, myself, and one other will supervise. Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods."
"It's rescue training!" The students yelled quite enthusiastically. After a bus ride of Bakugou getting told he wouldn't be a likeable hero, Midoriya that his Quirk was similar to All Might's, Kirishima being told he has a great Quirk, and Aoyama getting told that he'd be a great hero as long as he doesn't blow his own stomach up, the group arrived at their destination.
While Aizawa got of the bus and led the students inside, he checked his phone for a moment to see if he had any messages from either All Might or Lightbringer, there was none of the above. The man stood there while listening to Thirteen explain what everyone would be doing in the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or simply put, USJ. Then he realized that All Might wasn't present, so as Thirteen finished speaking, he approached the Pro Hero.
"Thirteen, where's All Might? I thought he was meeting us here." He asked, eyes darting around the space once more to see if he was simply late and coming in now.
"It seems he just about reached his limit during his morning commute." With those words and the three fingers Thirteen held up, Aizawa knew he wouldn't be showing up. "He's resting in the Break Room."
"The height of irrationality." He sighed. "So be it. Let's get started. I know someone else who's done a lot of rescue and may be willing to come in to fill All Might's absence." Thirteen nodded at the mans words while Aizawa walked off a bit to the side and called [L/n], who in the beginning focused a lot on rescuing by lighting up the darkest of places in order to find victims.
While the phone was ringing and he heard Thirteen explain his Quirk to the students, he realized a huge similarity between Thirteen's and [L/n]'s Quirks: simple, but could easily kill those around them.
Just as [L/n] picked up the phone, things began to go downhill.
As a swirl of wind began to appear in the center and a portal appear, or rather a warp gate, a man that appeared to have a hand for a face came out.
"Huddle up and don't move!" Aizawa yelled, never hanging the phone up, the phone in his pocket leaving the person on the other end to hear everything. "Thirteen! Protect the students!" Pulling up his goggles as more and more villains came in, he prepared to fight. With just himself and Thirteen, he didn't know how it would go, but he had no choice.
They needed to win, to protect the students.
"Shouta, Shouta are you there damnit!?" [L/n] yelled through the phone, but the connection was soon cut off. Gritting her teeth, she did the one thing she could. Bending her knees down and heels up, the wheels on the bottom of her boots beginning to spin, she placed her heels back down and took off leaving a trail of light in her wake. Her destination: the USJ.
"Thirteen! Begin evacuation and try calling the school! One of these villains must be jamming the sensors. There's a good chance one of their electric types is causing interference. Kaminari, try using your Quirk to signal for help." Aizawa commanded, the capture scarf around his neck already beginning to flow.
As he was about to launch towards the villains, Midoriya spoke up. "But Sensei, you can't fight them alone! Against that many... even you can't nullify all their Quirks! As Eraserhead, your fighting style involves Erasure and a quick binding capture, head on battle isn't—!"
The man cut him off rather simply, "No good hero is a one trick, pony." With that and one last word to Thirteen, he took off.
As he began to fight, taking villains down one after another, he could hear one yell, "You dumbasses! He can cancel out your Quirks just by looking at ya! That's Eraserhead!"
