Synopsis:

They thought everything's fine. Just because Toman disbanded, it doesn't mean that their friendships will be gone.

Yet, it did.

Everything happened in an instant. None would have expected this outcome when they step foot on the shrine's ground, with Mikey taking the center stage. None would have expected a time where their president, albeit former president, would raise a fist to one of his subordinates.

And yet, he did.

The first punch hits Mitsuya, an unfortunate soul who coincidentally is right in his line of fire.

No, even if he's not Mitsuya, someone else will take the blow. It doesn't matter...

Because everyone here will be on the receiving end of it.

Of course, as expected of the Tokyo Manji Gang's former second division captain. Despite the unsuspecting punch that came out of nowhere, despite him letting his guard down, despite being blown a couple of metres away from where they stand, he's still managed to hold his ground. A normal person would lose consciousness at that point, but Mikey himself knows what he's capable of, as his leader and as a friend.

Mitsuya wide eyed at the sudden attack. The impact was strong. He gritted his teeth to endure the pain and he can feel the rickety sensation of his bones being dislocated. A mouthful of blood seeping out of his mouth, dripping to his chin like drool and staining the grounds.

Everything happened in an instant. None would have expected this outcome when they step foot on the shrine's ground, with Mikey taking the center stage. None would have expected a time where their president, albeit former president, would raise a fist to one of his subordinates, one of his most trusted allies at that. Everyone was frozen in place, everyone except Draken who immediately released himself from his trance and ran towards the injured captain.

"MITSUYA!" Draken's shouts echo through the shrine's grounds. Too shocked to even notice his feet running towards his friend in a haste. Too shocked to register what had happened, too shaken at what he just saw that he only acted on instinct.

Mitsuya didn't respond. His eyes were fixed to the scene in front of him, his eyes coloured with fear, shock and betrayal. His body moves, and he can feel the bones pricking his abdomen, his breathing ragged but he foresees what will happen next. His adrenaline high and yet as he tries to step forward, he falls to the ground and the only thing he can do is shout.

"MIKEY, STOP!"

The second punch hits Peh-yan. This time, Mikey put more force into it. He knew how strong and durable his former third vice-captain was. He heard the report on his contribution during the Kantou incident, and he knew how strong his punches were. Thus, with the intent to immediately knock him out, he uses more power.

His punches were not as strong as his kicks, but it is still as deadly as ever. Thus, despite Peh-yan seeing it coming and bracing himself, he was out cold in an instant. His nose was crushed and his eyes shut tight as he fell to the ground.

Draken watched in horror at the scene unfolding in front of him. His voice cracked, trying to make some sense in this situation. What's happening? What's going on? Questions flooding his mind but he can only feel rage brewing in his mind. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, MIKEY?"

His questions were answered with vile laughter from Mikey, different from what Draken used to hear. His dark eyes filled with a determination that Draken couldn't quite grasp. His smile twisted in a sickening grin and Draken can feel the fear coursing through his body at the sight. This is different. This is a part of Mikey that he never knew. It's horrifying.
