🌶️ Carlos Sainz - "Do you want to take a ride baby?"

A few weeks had passed since your date with Carlos and you wished you could say there had been another one, but there hadn't. Carlos did text you every once in a while, but his schedule was so busy that you hadn't been able to meet up again. You felt disappointed because you really thought he liked you and the feelings you had for him weren't going away anytime soon. You didn't travel with the team to Russia last weekend, instead, you stayed at the factory in Italy, doing the catering for the tours. You could tell by the increased amount of people in the hallway that the team had arrived back and as much as you wanted to ignore it all and just go back to work, you were curious if you could get a glimpse of Carlos and his newest trophy.

Listening to the speech the team principal was holding in the background, your eyes wandered through the room until they were captured by his beautiful hazel ones. It was as if they were pulled towards each other by a magnet, the attraction was definitely still there. Carlos's lips turned into a small smile and he winked at you, causing the butterflies in your stomach to wake up from their week-long slumber. The effect this guy had on you was unreal. You slowly turned around when you noticed the speech was over and everyone started to go their separate ways again. There was still some work to be done in the kitchen. You rolled the empty food cart in front of you and headed down the hallway until you suddenly felt an arm wrap around your shoulders. 

"Hola, preciosa!" Carlos said before he planted a soft kiss on your cheek. You were still walking but your knees felt weak at his touch. You weren't able to talk, not really understanding the situation right now and Carlos seemed to notice. "Can we stop walking for a moment?" He said when he went to stand in front of the cart you were rolling in front of you. "Listen, I know I have been really busy and I haven't been able to take you on a second date yet, but I really want to. It wasn't just a one-time thing for me.." He said and you let your eyes fall down to the ground. "I really thought you liked me.." You whispered and it made Carlos move back next to you. "I do, cariño.." He said while he brushed some hairs that had fallen from your ponytail behind your ear.

You lifted your eyes to meet his and smiled softly at him. His thumb stroked your cheek before he focussed on the cart again. "Let me walk you back to the kitchen. What time does your shift end?" He asked and you answered you had about an hour of work left. "Do you want to take a ride, baby?" Carlos then said and you looked at him confused before he patted the cart. You chuckled and sat down on the end of the empty carriage and felt how Carlos started to push you towards the kitchen. You got a couple of strange looks from your co-workers, but you didn't mind. This was the happiest you had felt in a few weeks. "I'll see you after work, okay?" Carlos whispered in your ear before you hopped off the cart and rolled it into the kitchen. 'How were you ever going to be able to concentrate on your work now?'

It turned out to be quite difficult and you were extremely happy when you finally saw that the hour was over. You untied your apron and walked over to the lockers to collect your stuff. You had no idea where Carlos was, but you decided just to head towards the entrance of the building. He was talking to a few mechanics but ended the conversation when he spotted you. "There you are.. I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come back to my place?" He asked, seemingly nervous all of a sudden. "Yeah, sure!" You said before you felt his hand on your lower back, guiding you through the exit of the building towards the parking lot. "I know you already had a wild ride earlier today, but I'm sure you will like this one just as much". Your eyes went wide when you spotted the red Ferrari SF90 Stradale he was talking about. "Wow.." You said, earning a chuckle from Carlos.
