Six months. That was how long you had been trying to hide your massive crush on the new Ferrari driver. He didn't even know your name, you were probably just another hospitality chick to him. You spotted Carlos at the dining hall with his trainer and his cousin and you couldn't help but stare. His beautiful brown eyes, the subtle stubble that made your knees feel weak and the way the Ferrari red fabric complimented his skin. "Hello? Earth to Y/N?" Your best friend and co-worker said while she waved her hand in front of your face. You shook yourself from your inappropriate thoughts and focussed on the blonde girl in front of you.

"Can you take this to Carlos please?" She asked and you swallowed hard before you quickly nodded. You felt the tension rise in your chest and your heartbeat quickened with every step you came closer to his table. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but here's your food Carlos". You said with a shaky voice and your breath hitched in your throat when your eyes caught each other's gaze. He stared at you for a few seconds, not saying a word before he looked down at his food and quickly thanked you. You hesitated but decided to head back to the kitchen anyway, you needed some fresh air. It was Friday and free practice one had just finished, meaning the day was only halfway done and you were still on the clock for a few hours.

The afternoon went by pretty quickly when there wasn't anyone to distract you from your work and after you finished cleaning the tables in the hospitality, your boss approached you. "Would you mind doing a laundry run? Lauren didn't feel so good so she has gone back to the hotel". You had never done a laundry run before but you were willing to try everything so you just nodded. Your boss smiled and she explained to you what you needed to do. "You'll also have to go by the driver's rooms to pick up their race suits and bring them some clean ones for tomorrow". You felt a little nauseous thinking about going to Carlos' driver's room but you agreed to do it anyway.

You had never been to their private rooms before, your work was mostly in the hospitality unit and the kitchen. After much consideration, you decided to head towards Charles' room first and you knocked on the door softly before you heard him hum. "I'm here to pick up your laundry". You told him and a few seconds later, he opened the door with a large bag in his hands. You handed him the new race suits and fireproof overalls for tomorrow and he thanked you before you walked away again. You sat the bag down next to the door before you walked a few steps over to Carlos' room. You heard music coming from the inside so you knew he was there.

After a few deep breaths, you knocked on his door as well but he didn't hear you. You knocked again, a little louder this time and finally, Carlos opened the door. "Oh hi! I'm sorry, my music was a bit loud". He said, looking deeply into your eyes while you tried to keep your eyes from wandering down his body. He had taken off his race suit and fireproof top, leaving him only in the white leggings and it took all your strength to not look at his muscles. "Can I help you?" He said and you realized you must have looked like a fool for standing outside his door and not speaking to him. "Ehhh, yeah. I'm here to pick up your laundry, but you're not changed yet so I'll come back later.." You said, slowly hinting at the fact that he was still wearing the leggings.

"Oh, yeah sure. I'm sorry. Can you wait for a few seconds? I'll change quickly". He said and before you could even answer, Carlos had closed the door of his room. He opened it a few moments later when he had changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. "Here you go.." He said when he handed you the bag of laundry. You gave him the new overalls and fireproof clothing in return and you wanted to turn around when he spoke up again. "Ehh, it's Y/N, right?" He said and you shyly nodded, not having expected him to know your name. "I know this may sound a little sudden but I think you're really beautiful and I would love to take you out sometimes.." Carlos said.
