While Dean, Castiel, and Sam were on the way to Rhode Island, the demon who had been tasked to hunt Dean down and kidnap him had arrived back at the house. He had gone down to the basement where his boss was staying. The demon wasn't sure how to tell his boss that Dean had escaped but that wasn't going to stop him. The basement had been dimly lit and the minute he got to the bottom of the step to find that his boss had been leaning against the wall.

"Sir.." said the worker. "Um... bad news,"

"Really?" His boss asked quickly. The demon got petrified when B said nothing else. It was no secret that he lost his temper when things didn't go his way. "Tell me what happened then?" He asked, turning around and letting his golden eyes glow.

"So, I did find Dean Winchester," the worker started. "But he sort of escaped," the worker didn't get a chance to say anything before B attacked him and forced him against the wall.

"Failure," he said as he wrapped his hands on the lesser demon's throat. "He's only a child! How could you let him get away!" He screamed. The lesser demon spoke through breaths trying to explain what happened.

"He had help! His guardian angel! Sam!" The lesser demon exclaimed. "Michael's brother!"

"Don't you dare say that name in my presence," B said, letting his worker fall to the floor. "You see this scar on my face?" He asked, touching a cut near his eye. "It's not part of this useless vessel, Michael gave it to me when he sent me to hell," he continued. "I have an opportunity to get back at him by taking his vessel, do you understand that?!" He screamed.

"Yes sir!" the lesser demon said. "But how can you even get to him if his guardian angel is always around him and his worthless brother?!"

"Sam may be strong but he's blinded by his sentiment for his charge, I will use that against them both," B answered. "As for Castiel I'll just kill him but first I need to deal with you," he continued. B waved his hand and the worker's neck snapped, killing the vessel and when the lesser demon tried to escape B kept it from leaving. "I no longer require your services," he said as he used his powers to tear the demon apart. "Such a shame, I can't find good help these days," Dean had been extremely silent; he did not want to talk nor did he feel like talking. Everything was starting to come crashing down on him and it just felt like the weight of the world had just been placed on his shoulders. How in the world did a human take down a demon? Also, why did that monster from the Conjuring movie have to be real?

"Dean, you have been very quiet," Sam observed. It wasn't often that his charge was silent and the angel could tell that Dean's brother was getting concerned as well.

"I have no idea what's going on," Dean admitted. "Why can't this all be a dream?" He asked. The revelation of everything that had just happened was starting to build up in his mind.

"I am sorry, I didn't wish for you to find out about your destiny this way," Sam said to him. His presence was comforting but Dean still had questions.

"Destiny, what in the world are you talking about?" Castiel asked. Castiel had been briefed about the whole guardian angel thing but what exactly did Sam mean about Dean's destiny? Castiel wasn't even aware that Dean had one.

"It is complicated," Sam answered. "But you are the vessel for Michael," he continued. Castiel slammed on the brakes after hearing that, almost slamming into another car. Sam managed to stop the car with his angel powers so no one got hurt, at the same time Dean was freaking out.

"The archangel who defeated the devil?" Was all Dean asked. "Wait, what do you mean vessel?" he continued. Sam knew that this was going to be hard for his charge considering everything that had been hidden from him was now coming at him full blast.

"Most Angels do have vessels but Archangels require their true vessel," Sam did his best to explain. "The true vessel won't burn out and if there's a war then that vessel will be available," he continued. "That's why the demons want you Dean, if they get their hands on you then they'll know everything which will give them an advantage, especially if they try to possess you,"

"I won't allow my brother to be used as a vessel for any angel or demon!" Castiel declared. He was going into his overprotective mode while Dean once again tried to take everything in. Sam got angry with Castiel, claiming that a mortal couldn't stop another's destiny and that looking after Dean was his job. "I am his big brother, it's my job to protect him," Castiel argued.

"I have been looking after Dean his whole life, he is my charge," Sam responded and Dean told them both to shut up. He couldn't handle all this arguing he needed time to think about everything that was happening. First, he finds out demons are real, then angels and finally he finds out that he's the vessel for the archangel Michael. Now he really did have the weight of the world on his shoulders.

"Cass stop the car, I need some air," Dean said after his brother and Sam had stopped arguing. Castiel agreed and stopped at a nearby rest stop, Dean got out before Castiel could say anything but Sam followed after him. "Umm Sam?" Dean asked, a little confused.

"I can't let you go anywhere alone Dean, it is dangerous," Sam said to him. "The demons could be anywhere,"

"Hello, older brother sitting right here!" Castiel called out since the angel kept forgetting to acknowledge him. Dean sighed heavily and used this time to sneak away for some time alone.

"I'm eighteen years old, I don't need protection," he said to himself. Dean had entered the rest stop and walked into the bathroom, though when he did he hadn't realized that another angel had heard the situation and decided to briefly intervene. It seemed that Dean still did not have faith in himself or with the angels, which meant he had to do something. Gabriel flew down and asked a nearby mortal for permission to enter his body, when the mortal agreed Gabriel had entered the body and walked into the rest stop. He hid his true identity from Dean and walked into the bathroom acting like he had to use it.

Dean was standing in front of the mirror gripping the sink tightly. How could someone put so much pressure on the individual if they hadn't cared to ask how they felt. It was a pain in the ass and Dean was starting to lose it. He could feel hot tears ready to come down but forced them back since he didn't want to be considered a crybaby, the worst part was when people assumed that he was okay when he truly wasn't. He lost his entire family four years ago and never understood why he was the only survivor. He could have had a normal life, college everything. How could he save the world? Why him of all people?

"You look troubled," Gabriel said to Dean, making him snap out of his thoughts. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Dean said in denial, he looked over at the guy who had acknowledged him. He had short hair that parted in the middle and he had been wearing a black shirt with a green army jacket.

"I overheard that argument you had with your brother and friend," Gabriel responded. "But you know that they're only looking out for you? Right?"

"I know," Dean responded, still oblivious to who the stranger truly was. Dean didn't want to say anything else considering there seemed to be no point. He wanted to have a normal life but now it felt like he wasn't going to have that. "They keep talking about this great destiny, but it's too much, I feel so much weight on my shoulders that it's not funny," Dean said. "Now can you please leave me alone?" Dean was about to leave the bathroom when Gabriel spoke to him.

"Dean," said Gabriel. "You may be struggling, but there are things that you need to know, first, the lord is looking out for you, everything has already been written," he continued. "But everything that you've been through has been written, the path you're on is the right path," he kept going. "You just need to have faith, everything will work out," Dean stopped when he heard feathers in his ear then silence.

"Wait, how did you?" Dean looked around only to see that he was in the bathroom alone. "Okay, now I've seen everything,"
