Up in Heaven Michael as well as the other angels were able to sense that something had happened to their younger brother. He had been stripped of his grace, meaning they couldn't contact him or call him back to Heaven until he got it back.

"Brother this isn't good," Raphael said to Michael. The council of archangels had decided to meet since they needed a way to warn Sam about what they had discovered. Thanks to some angels who had observed the place, they now knew that the conjuring house was a portal and that was why demons kept appearing.

"No, we must find a way to tell Samuel," Michael answered. He was now worried for all the humans that were being used as forced vessels. "Raphael I need you to try and keep the demons away from humans, Gabriel, talk with our brother Metatron we need to be prepared in case B tries to attack Heaven," Michael continued taking charge like he always did.

"Yes Michael," Gabriel answered as he flew off.

"What about you?" Raphael asked his oldest brother. Michael had wanted to avoid doing this but it seemed like he would have to take the message to Sam himself. It had been centuries since he last set foot on earth but desperate times call for desperate measures.

"Do not worry my son, your brother knows exactly what he must do," The almighty one said. He had been mostly quiet throughout this meeting because he was worried about his children but now he had to be strong. The mortals needed him and he was going to protect them.

"Father is right I must go speak with Samuel myself and talk with my vessel," Michael answered.

"Be careful brother," Raphael said to his brother.

"I will be," Michael answered and he flew off towards the earth below.

It was late at night and Dean had fallen asleep in the back seat, normally he would be upfront but he decided to sit in the back since he was tired. He didn't mean to fall asleep; he only wanted to close his eyes for a second, but he was out like a light second after that.

"He has fallen asleep," Sam commented as looked down at Dean. It was nice to see his charge so relaxed when he had been so tense recently. Not that Sam blamed him, learning all this was life-changing and anyone would have probably tried running away by now.

"Humans do that when they're tired, which is why I need to stop somewhere so we can both get rest," Castiel responded. He had been driving all day and was ready to call it a night, Castiel pulled into the nearest motel and parked the car. He told Sam to stay in the car until he could come out with keys to one of the hotel rooms. It was only ten minutes before Castiel came out with a room key. He approached the car and knowing that his brother was still sleeping he opened the back seat and shook his brother awake. Dean groaned as he rubbed his eyes to see that they had stopped.

"Where are we?" Dean said simply.

"We're at a motel, right now we're in Connecticut," Castiel responded. "I stopped by a motel, come on let's get inside," Groaning, Dean got out of the car followed by Sam who had been sitting in the passenger's seat. The group walked up to the second floor of the motel where they unlocked the door and pushed it open.

"I don't understand why there are so many rooms?" Sam asked. This was another human thing that he didn't understand.

"Because it's a motel," Dean said even though he had been tired. "It's a place where we go if we're visiting," Dean had been relieved that there was a comfy bed so he made his way over and dropped his duffle bag then fell onto the bed letting out a long sigh.

"Make sure to get some sleep Dean, we leave early tomorrow," Castiel said to his brother. He knew that Dean loved to sleep in but they wouldn't have time for that on this hunt. Sam was confused again but felt that he shouldn't ask since he was getting the strange feeling of being tired himself. Dean didn't even say anything as he had already taken his shoes off and the minute his head had hit the pillow he was out like a light.
