You've finished your first mission, congratulations Samuel," Michael said to his brother.

"But my charge.." Sam started but Michael cut him off.

"Is safe now, it's time to come home. I think your vessel has been through enough," Michael told him. Sam was hesitant to leave as he wanted to stay and make sure that Dean was safe. "Don't worry you won't be far and I think Dean is in good hands," Michael promised, giving Castiel a look. It wasn't a look of disappointment, it was a glance of approval. Michael knew that Castiel had taken good care of Dean and he didn't think that would change anytime soon. Sam felt confident at those words and left his vessel for the time being. Michael also did the same as he knew that Dean would be exhausted after letting him in.

"What's going on here?" Sam's vessel asked. The last thing he remembered was coming home from his tech support job and Sam had appeared to him asking to be let in. How long ago was that and what in the world was doing in an abandoned house with two random people? Castiel paid no attention to the confused man other than telling him to leave and not ask questions. He was too worried about Dean who looked like he was going to pass.

"Dean!" Castiel called out just in case his brother fell over or went into some kind of coma.

"Cass, what in the world happened? Where's Sam?" Dean asked, still having all kinds of questions. Castiel wished he could answer everything but he didn't understand what had happened either.

"Sam went back to heaven with Michael but he will be back," Castiel told him. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Let's just go home, I need to sleep for a whole day," Dean responded. Castiel couldn't argue with that and he brought his brother back to the impala, but not before placing a bunch of salt and demon traps around the house just in case any more demons tried to get out. Dean flew asleep in the passenger seat almost immediately due to how tired he was and while he slept he found himself in a familiar room. He knew it was a bedroom, but it wasn't the one he had back home. It was too small and also not his current style, a bit too kiddush. "This is my old room," Dean said to himself. That's why he recognized it. This had been his room a few years ago, he must have been a small fifteen-year-old because he felt a little cramped in here. "Not as big as I remember," he said walking around and gazing at the items in his old room. He picked a few of them up just so he could feel them in his hands once again.

"Nice place," a voice said from behind him. Dean knew it was Sam and turned to see his Guardian angel laying on his old bed. "You're right though it is small in here,"

"Sammy this is private," Dean said with a smile. He was actually glad Sam was here, because after all that had happened he wanted to make sure his angel wouldn't leave him. He also had questions, how was Sam here? Didn't Castiel tell him that Sam had left his vessel to go back to Heaven? So why did he look the same? Maybe there was something about this whole angel thing.

"I hear and see everything that goes on in your head Dean," Sam answered. "You're my charge so nothing is kept from me," he continued.

"Wait, you can hear everything I'm thinking?" Dean asked in surprise. His mind against his will fills up with his questions from earlier, like how is he here? Why did he look the same? And was he going to stay? Sam's lips spread into a smirk before he answered.

"Yeah I can," Sam told him and Dean winced a little. Having his thoughts being heard by someone else was embarrassing. "I'll answer all your questions eventually but you should know that I don't need a vessel to be around you, Guardian angels can manifest," he explained.

"I don't know how that all works Sammy," Dean told him. Sam got off the bed and looked at his charge like he was examining him. "Ummm.." Dean trailed off.

"You're afraid that I will leave you because of what B made you do," Sam said to him. Dean pretended to not know what Sam was talking about but Sam saw through his act easily. "There is no need to be ashamed of what happened Dean, it wasn't you,"

"But I should have resisted, if I had been able to fight him off then no one would have gotten hurt!" Dean shouted out and dropped to his knees in shame. "I don't deserve to be the righteous man Sam, not when something like that happened," he felt like crying but only let a few tears fall. He was eighteen years old, and he was too old to cry over himself.

"Oh Dean," Sam said to him. The angel placed his charge under one of his large wings, it was a surprising reaction and Dean felt a little awkward. But it was comforting and Dean didn't want his angel to stop. "You don't see yourself the way others do, everything you have ever done has been for love," Sam told him. "The angels love you so much and so do I," he declared.

"Then you won't leave me?" Dean asked. That was all he could say after hearing that, he knew the love Sam meant wasn't romantic. As he knew, angels couldn't fall in love with humans, but it was still the kind of love he wanted to have.

"No, so I'm afraid you're going to be stuck with me," Sam promised him. To lift Dean's spirit he decided to mess with him a bit. "I know how much you love chick flick moments,"

"Ugh bitch," Dean groaned. He sounded annoyed but in reality, he was happy, Sam wasn't treating him any differently or said he was going to leave. Which is what Dean wanted, but he wouldn't admit that to anyone besides Sam.

"Jerk," Sam responded. "I'll see you around Dean," Just like that the dream ended and Dean woke up still in the car. He gasped a bit wondering how long he had been asleep.

"Rise and shine little brother," Castiel said to him. Dean gave him a look and asked if they were any closer to their house, which is something he knew he shouldn't ask but did anyway. "Well since you fell asleep for a whole day, we will actually be there soon,"

"Really?" Dean asked, wondering if Castiel was just trying to have some fun with him.

"No Dean we've only been on the road for a few hours, you can go back to sleep," Castiel responded.

"Not with you behind the wheel, I'd rather stay awake," Dean answered but then only managed to last for ten minutes before he fell asleep again.

"Wow, he really can nap anywhere," Castiel laughed. "Sleep tight little brother, you saved the world,"  After all that happened there was no doubt in his mind, that his brother had become a different person. He didn't just grow up and become a man, he had become a righteous man.
