A personal favorite, and perhaps even the best head cannon I have ever written. Gwyn and Azriel, where both live in the end and no one is injured. (Hooray!) Hope you will like this one!

The screen in front of him was blank, the text marker blinking, ready for him to start writing. Azriel sighed and looked over to his notes, he had everything ready, he just needed to start writing. First, his introduction, then sources, method, his own expectations, lastly results, then a reflection. He had it all planed out. This report, this last pice to his masters degree, it all was planed out. But his mind had other things occupying it.

For in the room next to him, in their bedroom, Gwyn was resting. A really bad stomach flu had gotten its hold on her, and this was the fourth day in a row now that she was sick, trowing up everything that came down. Gwyn, his stubborn girlfriend refused to let him help. She had forced him to stay away so he didn't get sick, and now, after three nights on the couch, Azriels back was not liking it at all. He heard how the door to their bedroom and bathroom was opened and closed, shortly followed by the sound if Gwyn trowing up. Azriel looked over to the clock, it had just struck nine in the morning.

"Love?" He called and sat down outside of the bathroom door. "Are you sure we shouldn't call a doctor?" He was worried about her, sure she got some fluids down, tea and glasses filed with vitamin water helped. But close to no food.

"Yea..." She called back and he heard how she flushed the toilet. Azriel did not agree.

"I beg you, please, at least call one and ask for advice." Azriel beged, leaning his head on the door. "This isn't good."

"Az... I am fine..." Gwyn said, but he could only hear the tiredness in her voice. "I will be coming out now, so back away from the door."

"Okey..." Azriel walked away, standing now in the kitchen so he could see her as she left the bathroom. Her hair was a tangled mess, her eyes had dark circles under them, and he swore that she had lost weight. "If it is not better by tomorrow, I am calling." He said. Making the decision for her. Gwyn was stubborn, and had always been that way.

They had known each other for almost ten years now, starting back in High School. While Azriels main focus and passion was computer sience and IT, mainly working and focusing on security, he had always been a singer. Their High School had a choir he and Gwyn had been a part of. The duo had often been paired up for duets and that was how they started to known one another. Sure Az had a girlfriend at the time, but Gwyn became a dear friend. Over the years they had followed each other, and five years ago, when they both had gotten accepted to their programs at University of Velaris, they had celebrated together. Azriel and his now ex-girlfriend had broken up a year prior, but Gwyn had dated a different guy at the time. It didn't bug Az at all. Not until spring of their first year here. When they had broken up, and he, that shithead if Azriel said so himself, had posted nudes of Gwyn to the internet, nudes she didn't know he had taken.

It was to Azriel Gwyn had come that day and cried, and it was him who had started to hunt down every single one of those pictures. Scrubbing them of the internet. Sending emails to have them taken down, reported it to the police. It had taken months, but it was done. That event was the foundation to the text he was working on now. The text accompanying the program he had made to do just that, a program that was made to track down unwanted images. It was not perfect, not yet, but the foundation and the framework was done. A year after that, they started dating, and now, they had lived together to two years. Moved apartments to one with two rooms instead of one. Azriel couldn't see himself with anyone else. Gwyn was the girl he planed on marrying. So much that he had a ring.

It was in his bag, carefully hidden with the cables and textbooks that occupied the bag. He had bought almost two months ago, before a party with their friends, too have it ready the day he dared to propose. He planed on doing it the day both of them had turned in their master theses. But that was planed to happen this spring. And now, in the dull weather in the last weeks of October, that was so incredibly far away.
