I'm sleeping wonderfully, dreaming about Courtney getting sent home when a bullhorn wakes me up. I shoot up as Bridgette hits her head on my bunk. I lay back down, rolling over and pulling my covers over my head.

"Let's go Sarah," Bridgette says miserably.

"No," I growl

"Sarah come on," she says, pulling my covers off.

I groan, "Fine," I get off the bunk and get dressed. I quickly throw on a Cypress Hill tour T-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. I make sure my hair is presentable then put on a gray beanie, lace up my combat boots, and walk outside to join everyone else.

"Morning, hope you slept well. "Chris says

"Yeah, no thanks to you," I grumble.

"Hi Chris, you look really buff in those shorts," Heather says.

"I know! Okay, I hope you're all ready because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute!" Chris says.

"Oh! Excuse me! I don't know if that's enough time to eat breakfast," Owen says,

"Ooohhhhhhhhh. You'll get breakfast Owen. Right after you complete your 20k run around the lake." Chris smirks.

I smile, this will be too easy. I just wish I had better shoes.

"Oh, so you're funny now! You know what I think would be funny!" Eva says, trying to charge at Chris but, Geoff and Duncan hold her back.

"Eva, try to control your temper!" Courtney whispers to her.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you!?" Eva screams.

"A little," Chris says happily, "You have 30 seconds. Okay, runners! On your marks, get set, GO!"

I ran alongside Bridgette, but honestly, her run was more like my jog.

"So, what did you and Duncan talk about last night?" She asks me.

I smile at her, "How he would be bored without me here and how we'd miss the other if one of us left," I smirk.

"You guys would make a great couple." Bridgette smiles

"Rowdie, and who would make a good couple?" DJ asks, running up next to us.

Bridgette and I look at each other.

"Come on guys, you can tell me, I won't say anything," he says.

"Promise?" I ask, sticking out my pinky finger.

"Promise," DJ says, hooking his pinky finger with mine.

"Okay, so um, I like Duncan," I say sheepishly.

"Then I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you he said your name a few times in his sleep," DJ says, smirking slightly.

"He was?" I say surprised

"What did he say!" Bridgette exclaims.

"He didn't really say anything. All I was able to hear was your name," DJ says, "Sorry,"

"Don't worry about it," I tell him, smiling. "But thank you for telling me,"

"No problem," He says.

"Awe! Now I have two besties on the island!" I say happily, doing a little dance.

Bridgette and DJ laugh at me. "And one seems to be more useful than the other," I tease Bridgette.

"Hey!" Bridgette says, pouting.

DJ and I laugh at her, "You know I'm only kidding," I tell her.

Duncan runs past us as Bridgette goes to punch me in the arm. I run ahead, so she misses. I turn around and stick my tongue out at her. I quickly catch up to Duncan.
