Back with another chapter! I know that these first chapters were kinda in "story mode" but worry not, this is a Truth or Dare book and nothing will change that so I will still get to your dares. I actually have a couple I can use in this one hehe...........it's a dare that at least seven people have already asked me to do so let's go already.
Oh, but before that, I have a REALLY important question. I want to know if you guys find it hard to read these stories because of the writing style. I write these chapters like a script rather than an actual book because I just find it to be a bit easier to make it like a comedy, but I was wondering if you'd think it would be better if I used other things instead of asterisks (this thing: *). Like for example, I could use brackets: [The Jade Winglet are all sitting in the cave] or something like that instead of *The Jade Winglet are all sitting in the cave*. What do you think?
Tide: Okay, everyone, best behavior.
Winter: We got it geez
Qibli: Yeah, you've only told us five times.
Tide: All right, but just a reminder, don't get frustrated if you can't tell my sisters apart, don't ask my mom for anything that might end up leading to her taking pictures, and especially don't ask about my grandfather's teeth.
Anemone: Tide, you're overthinking things. Relax! It'll be fine.
Tide: *sighs* Alright. But I was serious about the teeth. *Opens the door*
*Tide opens the door as six dragons struggle to carry a giant net of fish onto the shore. Haddock has blue and grey scales, Lazuli has dark blue scales (yes the same color as the actual stone), Delta and Tetra have light blue scales with a few blue-green scales scattered about, Amber has dark green scales, and Coot has light grey scales.*
Lazuli: Honey, *grunts and shoves the net* I'm pretty sure we don't need this much food. *shoves again*
Haddock: You never know. *pulls on the net* We might have really hungry guests. Besides, we had to chase away Great White Sharks to get these, so might as well make it worth it. Besides, we can put anything we don't eat in the freezer pond.
Delta: I wanna see the sharks again!
Tetra: I managed to get a tooth!
Delta: Hey, that's the one I dropped!
Tetra: No it's not! I pulled this one out of its fin fair and square!
Delta: Give it back!
Tetra: NOOOOOO!
*The twins stop helping and begin chasing each other around*
Coot: Bah! Those things weren't so scary. I've seen reef sharks twice as big! *continues grumbling*
Tide: *sighs* I better get in there before he starts telling a story. *walks over* Hey! Need any help?
Delta and Tetra: *momentarily stop trying to strangle each other* TIDE!!!
Tetra: How in the world did you get here first?
Delta: It's called "getting up early", duh. Not like you'd know.Tetra: Hey, ten AM is VERY early!
Tide: Alright alright. Delta is right--
Tetra: I'm Tetra!
Tide: *winces* Yeah, sorry, Tetra is right, ten AM is in fact very early for many dragons.
Delta: *sticks her tongue out*
Tide: *thinking* Man, I need to get name tags for these two.
