Chapter 4

{Kokichi's pov}

I was playing with the flowers that himiko had been fiddling with before when the monitor suddenly lit up with monokuma's face.

Another motive, I thought. Not surprised.

(After everyone is at the gym)

Monokuma leapt up onto the stage.

"Puhuhuhu since a certain someone won't shut up about the mastermind, we came up with a suitable motive," he declared. "Anyone wanna guess?" His question was met with silence.

"You have to find the mastermind. No investigation however. Only a trial or it would be too easy puhuhuhu~" he continued. "And if you guess it wrong you all die! So you better take this seriously~~"

We were directed to the trial room. I knew the mastermind. I could prove it was Shuichi if they would just believe me.

"Well it's obviously Kokichi right?" Kaito yelled. "I mean it's probably not a coincidence at least that the motive relates to what he was saying."

"Wait-"

"Are we talking about him accusing Shuichi?" Himiko asked.

As they were discussing it, monokuma started yelling at them to get to the trial room.

"But monokuma, we already know who will be voted why can't we just vote right here and now?" Tsumegi suggested. "Sorry Kokichi."

Monokuma agreed after a moment of consideration and we all voted on our monopads.

Kokichi: 5
Shuichi: 1
Maki: 0
Kaito: 0
K1-b0: 0
Tsumegi: 0

Everyone stood in silence, waiting for monokuma to say something. Monokuma powered down suddenly and everyone turned to me. I was too busy staring at Shuichi to care. He started to smile as everyone looked over to him.

"You were wrong," he did something behind him back and everyone but me and him were dragged away looking confused and hurt. He came over and grabbed me by the wrist.

"Come on beloved let's go watch their executions!" He dragged me over to the spectating area. Everyone had seperate executions. There were walls surrounding the areas so they couldn't escape. I wanted to look away but I couldn't. I watched as they all were killed mercilessly. I finally looked away to look up to Shuichi. He was smiling as he watched all of him friends die. He saw me staring and looked down at me. When he saw the tears in my eyes, he fully turned to me and started wiping them away gently. I looked back at the executions. He used the arm he was holding to pull me into a hug, with one hand holding my head to his chest.
