Nino POV
"See you in class, Alya." I said.
"Yeah. Later." Alya replied with a sad smile and waved before closing the door.
I sighed and made my way home, shivering as the wind pierced through my blue winter coat. After losing our miraculous and Marinette, there wasn't much to do after school. Even our dates became glum and empty.
On my way home, I saw a boy wearing a black H.D Arkham Street Coat with a grey hood over his head and a grey scarf covering his mouth and nose, a black long sleeved t shirt, dark blue jeans and black Georgia Muddog boots. He pulled of his hood and scarf and saw his face. He was about to enter his house.
"Alex?" I asked. The boy turned round and waved at me.
"Sup, Nino?" He asked as we bumped fists.
"Nothing much. I was about to head home." I replied with a shrug.
"Nino. I need to tell you something. It's about the new students." Alex said.
"What?" I asked. He entered his house and lead me to the living room. He went into the kitchen and made hot chocolate.
"Alright. Here goes" Alex said.
After his explanation, I slumped in my seat with shock.
"My God. We were completely fooled. Even Adrien." I said.
Alex nodded and sipped his hot chocolate. "I should've seen it from the start. I had a feeling. But I didn't want to believe it."
"But if Chloe broke out of prison, it would've been on the news, right?" I asked.
"I don't know how Chloe got out. But you're right. If she did break out of jail, then it would've been on the news." Alex said with a nod. "Something smells fishy."
I sniffed my underarm only to get a tap in the back of my head.
"It's a figure of speech, genius." Alex said.
"Oh. Right. Sorry." I replied. "We should tell Alya about this."
"Tomorrow. After that, well. I don't know." Alex replied
I nodded and sipped on my hot chocolate.
