Alex POV

Mr ,Mrs O'Brian and I fought our way through the army of Madame Peacock's henchmen, looking for Tina.

"Where are you, Tina? Come out!" Mrs O'Brian shouted out as she knocked out a foot solider with a steel pipe.

"TINA! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Her husband called out.

I deflected an arrow that was fired at us. We looked up and saw Tina, dressed in black. I fired my grapple gun at the roof and ascended. The O'Brian couple took the stairs to the roof.

"T?" I asked.

She turned around and grinned as she slotted an arrow into her bow.

"Time I finish the job." She said.

"Tina. This isn't like you. Fight it. I know you're in there." Mr O'Brian begged.

"Tina. Our little angel. Come to your senses. This isn't why you became Blue Archer. Those people and their leader corrupted you. Turned you into something you're not." Mrs O'Brian added, reaching out for their daughter.

"Stay back. Or you're next." Tina threatened.

I looked back at the couple and told them to stand back. Then, I looked back at Tina and pulled out my escrimas. As soon as I darted forward, Tina fired her arrow. I deflected it with my escrima and swung it at her. She ducked and snapped a kick at my torso. I quickly blocked it with one of my arms, but was knocked back by another kick to the side of the head.

"Pathetic. I don't even know what I even saw in you." She said as I got back up.

"The Christina I know wouldn't say crap like that." I replied and darted at her again.

She swung her bow at me, but I ducked and swept kicked her in the shin. She fell to the ground and rolled away from me. As soon as we got up, Tina fired a smoke arrow at me, blinding me. As soon as I recovered, Tina tried to snap an axe kick at me, but I used my escrimas to block the kick, causing her to lose her balance.

"Sorry, T." I muttered as I pushed her away from me and threw a throwing knife at her. She recovered and dodged the knife, lowering her guard. I ran forward and tackled her to the ground and pinned her down.

"Get off me, you-!" Tina shouted as she tried to free herself.

I saw the pendent around her neck, glowing in a dark purple aura. I removed it and smashed it against the wall, freeing the akuma and reverting Tina back to normal.

"Oww. My head. Alex, what happened?" She groaned as she clutched her head.

"You got akumatized. No thanks to Lila." I said as I helped her up, wincing in pain.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you. And thanks." She said.

"No worries. You'd do the same for me." I replied.

Tina's parents ran and hugged her tightly.

"Mum. Dad. I'm really sorry." Tina said, holding tightly to her parents.

"How touching." A voice called.

We looked and saw a girl in a jet black jumpsuit and skull mask with chains wrapped around her arms smirking at us. She lashed out her chain at us.

"Watch out!" I shouted and tackled Tina and her family out of the way, only for a chain to stick me in the side.

"ALEX!" Tina shouted as I rolled to the side, clutching my wounded torso.

"You must be Le Loup. Lila has told me a lot about you. Too bad you won't get any mercy from me." She said and raised her chain.

Just before she could finish me off, Mr O'Brian swung my dropped escrima at the woman, knocking her back.

"You stay away from my future son-in-law." He growled.

"You damned old man!" The girl roared and lashed out her chain. Mr O'Brian tried to dodge, but the chain wrapped around his neck.

"Dad!" Tina shouted and fired an arrow at the girl, only for the latter to lash out her other chain and knock her and her mother into a wall.

Mr O'Brian looked back at me.

"Tell my daughter that I'm proud of her." He croaked.

With a quick tug, the girl snapped his neck with her chain, killing him.

"NO!" Tina and her mother cried.

I watched in complete shock as Mr O'Brian fell to the ground. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and his body went limp and still.

"And now, to finish you off." The girl said as she lashed out her chain at me again.

Suddenly, Tina blocked the chain with her bow. Her eyes burning with rage.

"Alex. Get my mother out of here. I'll deal with this bitch." She said.

She's pissed. Better do what she says. I thought and lead the sobbing Mrs O'Brian away from the two.
